Critical: ProfessionalismMy friend and I went to Prisca, New Milford because we heard it was a good place. It was until after my foot massage and Marie punched my heel…..yes, PUNCHED. I now have a bone bruise on my heel which will take 3-8 weeks or longer to heal. After 3 weeks, still hurts like day 1 and I have been resting and icing it. My friend and I went to Prisca, New Milford because we heard it was a good place. It was until after my foot massage and Marie punched my heel…..yes, PUNCHED. I now have a bone bruise on my heel which will take 3-8 weeks or longer to heal. After 3 weeks, still hurts like day 1 and I have been resting and icing it. My summer will is ruined.

I found this place when I needed to get my nails done for my wedding. I never used to be a manicure kind of girl but you can’t beat the price or service here so now I find myself getting them on a more regular basis. The staff are very-friendly. Every manicure and pedicure includes a paraffin wax treatment and shoulder massage. The salon is always very clean.

I love this place and has been going for years, but the last time I was there, it was a major disappointment. I got the SNS Nails done a couple of times and the first time was great. One of my covered nails cracked after a week, but it was not visible. The 2nd time however was horrible. The powder dip was SNS, but the bonding was not. It was some other brand that did not do a good job. My nails all started lifting and chipping off after day 1 and by day 4 the entire thing came off and I had to spend money on vacation to get a manicure. Obviously the bonding sucked. I paid all that money for nothing and I am upset and annoyed that the products being used is not what is stated. As I said I love Prisca nails, but maybe it is time for a change.

I went in to get my gel polish changed. They used a nail file to remove the gel scratching and cutting my cuticles. What would normally take 15 min took over an hour. It was painful on my fingers and my pocket, for they charged me $35 when a typical fill is normally only $30 at other places. I also lost 3 nails in the first 4 days since they made my nails so thin and weak. I will NEVER go back.

One of the best nail salons I’ve been to! I come here everytime I visit my in laws. The place is very relaxing with soft music, very clean, pampering with hand/foot wax dip and massages.
