Literally the very best nail service I’ve received yet! Julie owns the salon and she’s the only one who works on her clients. She will spend at least 2 hours on you to make sure you feel pampered and leave looking your best. No wonder the nails last the longest compared to the other salons I’ve been too. I’ve come to Princess Nails Storrs for both manicure and pedicure, and I always leave satisfied. ❤️

The comments for this place made me nervous, but I went anyway since I just moved to this area and needed a pedicure. I was the only one there and was in and out in 30 minutes. It was fine. Quiet! No tv or music. The place is tiny and a bit crowded. $37 for regular pedicure is high in my opinion but she did a good job. Pedicure

I’m in love with how my nails turned out! I got ombré dip powder on my natural nails and they came out perfect. The nail tech took literally 2 hours perfecting them, and stayed open late just to finish. So worth it! Dip powder

One of the worst experiences I have ever had. Asked for the cat eye if she does them, she said yes. Did not get what I wanted at all. Told her I needed round edges she did pointy regardless. Charged 30$ for the fill. The color is so transclusent and the nail polish is under my nails and on my skin… I was told the fill would be 15 and she said because she did her math wrong it was now close to 30. Her utensils did not look clean and I will never ever come here again. Worst experience of my life and a huge waste of money

Had a great manicure and pedicure experience here today. The 2 sisters don’t chit chat a lot, but they work with patience and diligence to get the job done. They don’t rush thru, but take their time. It’s hard to understand them, but they are very good at their job, that’s what matters.

I don’t understand the negative reviews for here. My roommate and I came here because she wanted to try out acrylics, and I was in need of a fill. The sisters were quiet, but very concentrated on their work. They were very sweet and attentive, and you cannot beat their pricing. I can’t wait to come back again!

This place is right next to UConn Storrs. I was visiting and needed to get my nails done. This place is okay but super tiny, dirty, and I was the only one there. It looked super unprofessional. I could barely understand the ladies as they explained their prices. When one was doing my nails, she would ask me if I liked it or if it was okay and if I asked for something done a bit more, she would make a face and speak about me to the other lady. She was also so rough with my nails/hands, and hurt me a few times. Overall, my nails came out fine and I paid average but left barely any tip. If there’s another place to go, I’d suggest it

I have been a client of Princess NaiIs for 16 years. I noticed the salon has not been as busy as usual. I asked Hana and Julie what was up. They showed me some reviews on the internet that were very bad. I was shocked by some of the comments and the dates. Some going back to 2010. There are also some very nice comments. I would like to hope that you are seeing the dates as well. It is unfair to judge by just the comments alone. I have never had a bad experience here, even I still have a hard time understanding them. They dont smile all the time but i dont take that or the fact that they speak their language personally. I am not that important to think they are talking about me. I use their services for acrylic nails, pedicures, leg wax, facial wax and underarm. In 16 years I have never gotten a fungus or an ingrown hair. My nails are perfect. I don’t know how they get the lengths so perfect. I get compliments all the time. They recently renovated and it is not a designer establishment but they are patient and meticulously get the job done. Prices are comparable. I recommend that you give them a try. This is my personal experience I hope you have a pleasing one as well.
