I had a very small ceremony November 1, 2020 (just parents and siblings), and wanted to look nice but not overly glam. I don’t wear makeup on a regular basis, and my hair is usually in a bun on top of my head. I wanted to look nice, but also like myself. Primp’s team did an amazing job finding that balance. I came into the studio that morning (I live nearby and this was easier than having them come to the venue, but they would have been willing to do that if I’d asked). It was so easy and they made me feel so special. I’d recommend them to anyone.

Malari was AMAZING!! She came to our house for my sister’s wedding hair and makeup and it was one of the best bridal party styling experiences I’ve ever had! She was so helpful with making suggestions and making our simple requests look amazing. My hair looks and feels wonderful and the makeup as well. She even rolled with the flow with an extra request we threw at her last minute. Would HIGHLY recommend.

Overall we had a terrible experience with very poor communication. The stylists showed up an hour late with no photos of the brides trial hair or make up. I’ve had hair and make up done for weddings more times than I can count and this was by far the worst experience I’ve had. The brides hair looked nothing like her trial. Maybe it was just people we had, but I cannot recommend Primp. If you want a stress free morning of getting ready for your big day, look elsewhere.

I had Primp do my hair/makeup for myself and bridesmaids for my wedding back in 2021. At the time, I thought they did a great job, but looking back, I’m not so sure I would recommend them. The hair stylist put in a weird braid in the back of my hair and the picture shows how off centered it looked because she was running behind schedule. My one bridesmaid didn’t even have her hair done by the time we had to start taking our “getting ready pictures” of all the bridesmaids sitting together.

My friend hired this service for her wedding. The woman who showed up for the makeup did an excellent job however the hairstylist was horrible and not who the bride did her trial with which makes no sense. When one girl in the wedding party asked for a braid she said she didn’t know how and every single girl who showed her a picture of a specific style did not get anything close to what they asked for. It’s like she took her own liberty to do what whatever she wanted with our hairstyles not what we were paying for. On top of that, Brides make sure you read the fine print when you sign the contract. Even though we were very unsatisfied with our hair, we had to tip a pre decided amount that was highly undeserved for what service we received but per the contact this amount was required. Overall would not use again or recommend for a wedding.
