Brought my daughter to get her make-up done for her senior portraits. They did a great job. She was happy. Was greeted when we walked in the door and the young lady that greeted us was super friendly. The stylist seemed like she was all business and didn’t say much. That’s not necessarily an issue bc that lets me know she takes her job seriously. I generally don’t throw five stars around unless I feel that folks go above and beyond what I pretty much expected. So the 4 stars isn’t necessarily a knock on my review. I would refer another person if asked.

I felt that the hairstylist wasn’t knowledgeable about blowouts. I would recommend training staff regularly to secure the quality of work. It’s a blow out shop and I received a hairstyle with a bit of volume from hair teasing and hairspray. I do more with my Lange duo tool at home than the salon did for me for 100 bucks. Not worth it. Wouldn’t recommend this place.

I came in with the photo of what I wanted my hair to look. And then I told the makeup artist what kind of makeup I wanted. They both nailed it out of the park. I haven’t felt this beautiful in years. I got my hair done at noon and it lasted all day and night. I would highly recommend.

Came here to sparkle for my company Christmas party and was not disappointed. The shop was clean crisp & inviting. Kacie was my makeup artist she did a great job. Very personable engaged in conversation with me the whole time. I believe when you engage not only is your input taken but time flies.

Would definitely NOT recommend. I am seriously so disappointed in this place. My appointment was today at 6:45 I arrived a couple minutes early and waited patiently as they had told me over the phone that Alexis the stylist that is supposed to do my blowout was running a few minutes behind. When she came and greeted me it was a subpar greeting and she honestly looked over it. I sat down in the chair and she asked me to take my hair down and immediately commented on how I have textured hair. She let me know that I would actually need a blowout with another service which included a hot tool being used but since that service is usually about an hour and 15 minutes we would have to reschedule as there wouldn’t be enough time since I guess they close at 8.

I have curly hair and they did a great job at properly straightening it. The only reason I give it a 4 star is because it’s pretty awkward being in there at times. The first time I went it was later and the vibe was just awkward lol. The stylist joked about how my ends were fried and when brushing my hair she was brushing starting from the top and roughly. Also since it’s the mall everyone is gonna be looking inside and it’ll be a bit awkward with all that eye contact. The second time I went it was more busy and the hairstylist was more friendly than the first. But the most important thing is if they can do hair and they certainly can!

It was my first time visiting Primp and Blow and I absolutely loved the care I received. The front desk ladies were very kind and welcoming. They quickly offered me a drink and a seat. Shortly after, Alexis came out and greeted me and guided me to the washing station. After getting my hair washed she quickly started on blow drying my hair and styles it exactly as I asked. I paid for a blow out and tools. I asked for BIG hair! My hair was flat, the “curls” that were put in fell out within 15 minutes. I went back and asked if this is normal and the lady proceeded to tell me “yes…you should have paid for tools!” Well I DID…they weren’t willing to fix. Now, my hair feels like hay on the ride home. I’d attach photos if I could! I’ve never written a bad review either if that tells you anything. It won’t let me load photos, but I will find a way!
