I went there to get a wash and set. Showed every lady in the salon what I wanted…to not get nothing near what I wanted. I had no other choice but to get the style straight. I wanted a curly style.They don’t ask you what you want they just assume that you want your hair straight. They didn’t even have clippers if you wanted a close cut. I was confused and upset

My hair WAS natural for four years, and after dealing with the pandemic I decided to try something different after my daughter saw Primo did blowouts. We looked up the process and decided to check them out. I got a blowout at this location, and my hair was bone straight and looked good, but smelled like it was getting flat ironed and the smelled lasted for four days until I couldn’t take it anymore. I had to wash my hair, the smelled was so strong. I washed my hair, towel dried and my 4c type hair was STILL STRAIGHT. Total and complete heat damage. There was NO snap back with my damaged curls, there were spots that were slightly wavy, but my hair was mainly straight. Tried all of my curl activators, shampoos, conditioners, all of my products didn’t help, *cue the tears. Whatever that was used in my hair totally wiped the naturalness of my hair, and it started to shed. Sick to my stomach. I will absolutely NEVER go back to these ladies, they knew that $%#! they put in my hair was going to straighten it permanently, and they should’ve told me something about the products they were putting in my hair if it was more than shampoo and conditioner. I wouldn’t recommend this place if your hair is natural and want to keep it on your scalp!!!! I want to take these people to court!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not only did they ruin my hair, the same to my daughter’s. My hair has been lifeless, different lengths, dry and brittle after this absolutely HORRIBLE experience.

A coworker of mine recommended Primo and I have been coming back ever since. I am African-American, and have 3c/4a hair. My main stylist is Gigi, but I believe all of the stylists do an amazing job. I’ve been coming almost every two weeks for a few months now! I like to catch them on slow days, because on busy days (like Fridays) they’re BUSY! On the slower days you will get in and out within an hour and a half.

STAY AWAY! These ladies don’t even have their license. GiGi, is very mean, and doesn’t listen. She burned off at least 5 inches of My hair, the entire way around my head.
