Starting going to Eryn when she was with another barber shop 8 years ago. She was always friendly and respectful of my sensitive skin. I needed a new look from just buzzing it myself. She has always taken my terrible descriptions and transformed them into a modern stylish look. Now I have my own haircut that has its own name. Always happy to see me and always kind. 10 out of 10 would recommend. Richie is always a blast to have around in the background to agree with me when Eryn disagrees with me. I had a really bad experience here at prestigie barber shop. I came in for my normal hair cut on Saturday with Erin and there was another guy getting his hair cut by Richie.. when they finished up they were joking and this guy that was getting his hair cut started saying something in Spanish and laughing about it and then he tried to get Erin to join them and say the word and she wouldn’t because she wasn’t sure what it meant. So she asked and he said “don’t worry about it” and left and when he left she asked Richie what he said and he just laughs and says. “Gay boy”. I’m not sure how else I could interpret this situation but I am completely disgusted and I will never return here I’m really really upset:/

Was looking for a haircut on the weekend and looked up Prestige Barbershop. After calling around to all kinds of places trying to get an appointment. I found they are mostly a first come basis, which I like and it’s cash only. Being in the service industry I appreciate a great cut which is exactly what they offer at Prestige. Even with a few people ahead of me was in and out less than an hour, they have flat screens and couches to help pass the time. They were super nice, and a reasonable price for what you will find down in Old Port and the surrounding areas. Definitely a nice locally owned place. They have a live wait online to tell you the busy times or call ahead and ask how many are in line. Will def be back.

First time at prestige with my son, The two gentleman that was ahead of us explain that it’s a first come first serve basis an cash only. These two gentleman kept telling me an my son how both barber’s (Richie and Joe) are amazing. I needed to use the ATM which had a $2.50 charge. While my son was in the chair, Richie was his barber. I loved how he started a conversation with my son. Richie, did an amazing job on my son’s haircut, he did fading an clean straight lines. The waiting an the $2.50 ATM charge was worth it. This is our new favorite barbershop. Thanks.

I think Prestige barber shop is the best place to get a haircut around this area. Richie and Arran are super cool and nice people. They both take their time while cutting your hair!! Also ask you many times during the cut if there is anything you wanna change. They also will hop right into conversation with you about day to day stuff, what’s going around the world or personal things. Overall they are genuine people and give amazing haircuts with good prices also. If you want a perfect haircut with a killer conversation, stop at Prestige barber in Old Orchard Beach!!
