PressBar Suwanee never disappoints. I have really course thick hair and the stylist always gives me a press that last for 2-3 weeks with proper home maintenance. I also get extensions and the install is near perfect. The hair provided is the best I’ve ever had. The quality/texture is very natural and very easy to maintain. Also, PressBar heat press irons are a must have and helps me to maintain my press in between visits.

I got my hair silk pressed at the press bar about two days ago. At first I was really happy with how it turned out but my hair is ALREADY frizzing up. On top of that, they had someone who I guess was working his first day on the job or something do my hair. He was thorough with washing and blow drying my hair but my hair did not last at all like how I’ve had my hair silk pressed in the past. Definitely not impressed.

I brought my daughter here and was very pleased with the customer service. That is very important in my book. No wait, smiling faces, and we were offered water or coffee . Sebastian was my daughter’s stylist and he did a GREAT job. He was kind, respectful, and gentle with her hair. She got the prestini and it looked gorgeous. I came to press bar to have my daughters hair pressed. The stylist said because she would cry at times during the blow out step that she couldn’t continue with the style. She offered not to charge for the service, but I insisted I wanted to pay. I then decided to give them a try and purchase their kinky straight hair. I inquired and asked a lot of questions about the hair prior. I was told it didn’t swell and was very high quality hair. My stylist ( a well known one) was very surprised that the hair could barely hold a curl while in her chair and by the time I got home 15 mins later, all potential curls were completely gone. Not only that, the hair seemed much shorter than 18 inches. By the time I got home, the hair swelled up and was really big. I came to the shop to let the associate know and to return the remaining 1 bundle. The associate put the bundle I wanted to return next to another supposed 18 inch and said it was the correct length. She then proceeded to curl a sliver of the extension on my head and said it looked like it curled to her. I told her, that my issue is that it does not hold a curl even with hair spray. She then called the owner. When speaking with the owner, rather than refund me for the 1 bundle that I was not satisfied with and never opened as witnessed by her associate…she told me they are just like the beauty supply store and are a small business. She completely dismissed my concerns as if she doesn’t know that sometimes there can be bad batches of hair in a shipment. I saw the bad reviews prior but decided to give them a chance and wish I would have just stuck to my gut feeling.

I got a tape in removal service. They noticed the tough glue still in my hair and gave me a second wash! I love the press bar, I don’t go anywhere else to get my hair straightened. Great customer service with the best stylists. Blowouts

I am not sure which stylist that I had as I picked whichever one would be available at the time I scheduled my appointment. She pressed my hair very well and she was very quick which I appreciated as well. The issue I had was that I wanted a hair steam. I had never been to press bar salon before and I wasn’t really sure how it worked. After she brought me to the chair I was a bit confused as every salon I had been to a hairsteam was included with the press. When I had asked if I could pay for the hair steam she said ” I wish you had told me earlier because I had already rinsed the conditioner out and used a leave-in”. It just made for an kind of uncomfortable and upsetting experience as I wasn’t able to get what I wanted and was made to feel guilty about not knowing how the salon worked. The press didn’t even last a day before it started frizzing.. I just wish could’ve gotten what I wanted and wasn’t made to feel embarrassed and guilty when I had paid so much money…
