Positive: QualityI had to find a new hair stylist because mine retired. I am so happy that a friend recommended me to Press Express Hair Salon. Krissy has been my stylist twice now and both experiences have been positive. I requested flat twist styles (pictured below). They have turned out beautiful and I’ve received a lot of compliments of my hair. After spending some time in the salon and watching Krissy treat other clients, it appears she is talented in other areas of hair too so her skills are NOT limited at all.I had to find a new hair stylist because mine retired. I had to find a new hair stylist because mine retired. I am so happy that a friend recommended me to Press Express Hair Salon. Krissy has been my stylist twice now and both experiences have been positive. I requested flat twist styles (pictured below). They have turned out beautiful and I’ve received a lot of compliments of my hair. This was my first time visiting PRESS EXPRESS today and I absolutely LOVED the atmosphere and vibe in there. All the hair stylists were so friendly and made me feel comfortable there. I went in for a silk press, hydration treatment, and a cut, and let me tell you something my natural hair hasn’t felt this good in a LONG time. Shout out to Shanikia for hooking me up, my husband hasn’t stopped complementing me. Been looking for a good hair stylist that really knows how to take care of my hair and I just found her.

The last time I had booked an appointment was for my homecoming. I booked for a half up half down quick weave. Immediately after getting my hair washed I noticed how in the blow drying process I continued to still see dirt falling out and dandruff still left in my hair. Krissy was the one doing my hair and I felt like a burden while she was detangling my hair as she was very rough. Still I understood the time management she was under so I proceeded to not say anything. I still left the salon feeling good about my hair though when I was taking my hair out after about 2 1/2 the 3 weeks my hair was literally stuck together in chunks and ultimately left me with a bald spot in the same place in which I had a ponytail for the half up half down.

I had a WONDERFUL experience with Shanikia George! She was prompt, professional, pleasant, and passionate about her craft! The salon itself is beautifully decorated. The chairs are spa like and super comfy. The vibe is great! I love the photo wall and the YouTube music station played a pleasant mix of smoothing favorites which paired perfectly with the already beautiful atmosphere. I walked out with beautiful silky hair perfectly done! This is truly a beautiful salon with an owner Shanikia George who excludes excellence, passion, and purpose! The press was also express but absolutely perfectly done!!! Do not hesitate to schedule you won’t be disappointed!
