Critical: Professionalism, QualityI used to be a very loyal customer and enjoyed supporting Jessica because she is a black entrepreneur. It took me a while to write my review because Jessica and I have always had pleasant interactions, with the exception of our last interaction.It is very hard to book an appointment with Jessica because her clientele is growing ( which is a good thing for her!). When I finally booked an appointment for myself I was very excited and looked forward to getting my hair washed and styled. About a week before my appointment, my spouse had a death in the family. Losing this family member had an affect in our household and became the primary concern.Long story short, after a lot of emotions and contemplations throughout the week, my spouse decided to go to the funeral and asked me to come for moral support. The next day I called Jessica to ask her if I could reschedule my appointment (which was the following day) and transfer my deposit to the rescheduled appointment instead of paying another deposit. This was my first and only time I ever had to reschedule an appointment within a short notice. Unfortunately, Jessica did not show any grace and told me I should have called to reschedule in advance and that I would need to make another deposit. I explained to her my circumstance and that my spouse just decided to attend the funeral, but she did not have any sympathy and stood her ground.I have been a loyal client, I have referred Premiere to a lot of my friends and family, and even given Jessica free promotion that she uses to this day. I totally understand that she wants to abide by her policy with no exception and I don’t expect any special treatment. But for me, I prefer to give my business to someone who has better customer service, more compassion, and can tailor their decisions based on extraordinary circumstances. I have taken my business to another establishment and the interactions feel much more genuine in comparison.Jessica does great hair but she does not carry any genuine compassion or emotional awareness, which is important for a neighborhood business.Service: HairstylingI used to be a very loyal customer and enjoyed supporting Jessica because she is a black entrepreneur. Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Quality, ValueI’ve been coming to this salon for the past 4 years and the service gets better with time! I’m always impressed with Jessica’s professionalism, cleanliness of the salon, and styling talent. She’s also concerned about the HEALTH of your hair! I’ve come a long way since salons were shutdown during Covid and I thank her for helping to get my scalp back to normal! I’ve been coming to this salon for the past 4 years and the service gets better with time! I’m always impressed with Jessica’s professionalism, cleanliness of the salon, and styling talent. She’s also concerned about the HEALTH of your hair! I’ve come a long way since salons were shutdown during Covid and I thank her for helping to get my scalp back to normal! Definitely give this salon a try!

The second time she was late for the appointment and ended up cutting my hair shorter than I wanted even though I said twice the exact length I wanted. Also pretty pricey. The owner Jessica was the only person working in the salon both times I visited. Both times took way too long (first time took 3 hours for a wash and style!) The second time she was late for the appointment and ended up cutting my hair shorter than I wanted even though I said twice the exact length I wanted. Also pretty pricey. I went to a previous stylist who did not deliver what I wanted so I came to Jessica to get it redone and she came through!!! She worked her magic and it came out perfect! I went to a previous stylist who did not deliver what I wanted so I came to Jessica to get it redone and she came through!!! She worked her magic and it came out perfect! She was so welcoming and provided amazing service while I was in her chair and I will definitely be back as a returning customer!
