Critical: ProfessionalismI heard good things about this barber shop and about the owner “Trey”. My usual barber was out on vacation so I booked 4 appointments for myself and my 3 boys with a Darnell the Barber. He allots 45 minutes each head, even for kids (but I digress). I was running a few minutes late due to traffic from a car accident but was in Midlothian; 3 miles from the shop. I reached out to him to let him know and he was SO rude and unprofessional. It caught me off guard initially, and he was going IN! I’ve never encountered this kind of hood and unprofessional from a Barber. He called me and argued with me on the phone. I asked him is there any flexibility in the haircut time, because I KNEW it would NOT take 45 mins for each of us. I told him surely one of us can take 30 mins, and the other could take 45 mins. We have SIMPLE taper fades on the sides, and NOT EVEN THE BACK! Simple, right? He asked me if he goes to my job and tell me how to do my job? The conversation absolutely BLEW me and was laughable to be honest. I told him he was rude and unprofessional and that’s not how you talk or deal with a potential client who gave you 4 HEADS! He said he was not rude since he was not cursing. Ignorant! Avoid him by all means if you want professionalism. Hopefully, the owner Trey will address him as I’m SURE this was not his first time treating a customer like this. I heard good things about this barber shop and about the owner “Trey”. My usual barber was out on vacation so I booked 4 appointments for myself and my 3 boys with a Darnell the Barber. He allots 45 minutes each head, even for kids (but I digress). I was running a few minutes late due to traffic from a car accident but was in Midlothian; 3 miles from the shop. Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueMaking this post for my boyfriends experience..Not sure about any of the other barbers, but Jaygotfades or what ever his name was was super unprofessional. As my boyfriend was explaining what he wanted he cut him off saying he will take care of him. He proceeded to sit down and the whole time he had to let him know what he wanted/needed as if he’s never cut hair before. When my boyfriend walked it in looked like his beard had not been touched, the hair cut was OKAY, but there was hair sticking up and when my boyfriend made a review on his website he said that’s not how he looked when I left like he re cut or did something to it. Also proceeded to say he did everything so he wouldn’t have to pay, but didn’t like the cut and still paid $50. First off that’s unprofessional for you to say something like that to a customer and 2nd money isn’t an issue, but you should get what you pay for. Like I said very unprofessional and he does not know how to cut, not sure why his pictures on his website don’t match in real life. As my boyfriend was explaining what he wanted he cut him off saying he will take care of him.
