my daughter got knotless braids small with pink and clear/white beads . they did an amazing job all tho it was a little unprofessional when the hairstylist left to go eat but otherwise i loved the hairstyle and i don’t see why people give them bad reviews Hairstyling, Braids

Friendly people. Prices are not displayed so they just make them up. Place could use some sprucing up and they need to sell supplies to their customers. I was in and out, not crowded. Completed my large block braids within 2 hours. I probably won’t return in the future. I was definitely over charged for what I got but in the end I was happy with my hair.

I have been a few times and each time there is always some minor hiccup but they definitely get the job done. The place isn’t very clean but it’s not filthy. They ask that you come with your hair already washed so keep that in mind. The prices aren’t really set in stone as I’ve paid 3 different prices for the same style. I had the unfortunate experience of getting my hair braided once when the stylist had her son with her. He was under 5 and she had absolutely no control over him whatsoever. He kicked my chair, bumped tripped and fell into me multiple times all while screaming and carrying on. It was the most aggravating experience I’ve ever had getting my hair done but I made it through and have gone back again because… Well… They are good at what they do and accept walk-ins.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would.Staff: The proprietor and the women braiding hair have always been considerate and patient. They frequently ask if I need a break to stand and stretch. They work together when the shop isn’t busy. Yesterday I had waist length box braids installed. At times there were four women working on my head. Terrible. They will charge you nearly $200 for basic cornrows and put the braids in so tight that your eyes will pop out of your head. Run. Hairstyling

I was taken in right away, which was great. However, after I left for my nephew’s wedding in Virginia, I realized the owner Maggie had cornrowed a lot of the braids that were suppose to be individual braids and some of my hair was left unbraided. I called to let Maggie know I was not happy, she didn’t offer a refund or to re do any braids. She did apologize after I told her that I was unhappy a second time. I sat there for 5 1/2 hours, was charged $120 and gave a $10 tip. Unfortunately, I will not be going back.
