Lovely girls offered coffee/ tea which i thought was way beyond what I’ve ever expected!! Supplies used were clean and sterile and within 30 minutes my gel nails were applied beautifully!! Had a very pleasant experience! Love that my appointment time was on time! Lovely girls offered coffee/ tea which i thought was way beyond what I’ve ever expected!! Supplies used were clean and sterile and within 30 minutes my gel nails were applied beautifully!! Waxing lady was attentive and cared for my sensitive skin type!

Critical: Quality, ValueI came to have a gel manicure. The girl at the register kept checking what the manicurist was doing. She told me that the manicurist was new and she was checking. Shortly after she told me that she was leaving and if I had any issues to speak with the manager. The manager was busy with other customers and did not come to observe.During this time the manicurist proceeded to cut my cuticles even though, I said cut very little, only at the end where needed. She cut a lot of my cuticles and even to a painful point. Then she started to paint my nails and kept cleaning around every nail. She could not keep the polish clean on my nails. She also had a hard time to paint 1 of my nails. I told her not to do it. At this point, she asked another manicurist to take over. The second manicurist proceeded to remove all of the nail polish besides 2 or 3 nails. She re- did the polish and completed the manicure to perfection.I am extremely disappointed with my level of service. I was not given a discount. I did tell the manager that I would be writing a bad review, she did not care. She saw that the original manicurist did hurt me and she still did not give me a discount. I came to have a gel manicure. The girl at the register kept checking what the manicurist was doing. She told me that the manicurist was new and she was checking. Shortly after she told me that she was leaving and if I had any issues to speak with the manager. The manager was busy with other customers and did not come to observe.

Critical: ProfessionalismI was in the store a few months back and I really enjoyed my experience. The manager was there and she made me a coffee while I was getting my service done and she was really nice and friendly. I decided to come back since I enjoyed my experience so much but the manager was not there. I’m not sure who the girl by the register was but she was really rude, mixed up my appointment, and charged me for a service I did not get. When I pointed out the mistake she tried telling me that I did get that service done when even the lady who worked on me said I did not get that service. She eventually refunded me but she was just really rude and she had this smirk on her face the whole time that I just found really condescending. It is such a shame because I really like this place and the workers are all really nice but I will not be returning unless I know beforehand that the manager will be there. I was in the store a few months back and I really enjoyed my experience. The manager was there and she made me a coffee while I was getting my service done and she was really nice and friendly. I decided to come back since I enjoyed my experience so much but the manager was not there. The owner served complimentary coffee and tea, and seemed genuinely interested in my preferences and small talk. it was a truly validating and relaxing time. I recommend everyone that wants to have a beautiful, spa-like experience, to go there. I was extremely impressed with my experience at Powder and Paint. I was given 5 star treatment, and the staff is exceptionally nice. The owner served complimentary coffee and tea, and seemed genuinely interested in my preferences and small talk. it was a truly validating and relaxing time.
