Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueI came into the salon for a quote because having long hair I like to know ahead of time what It will cost. After being told $109 I walked out today paying $200The salon was nice and the girl who did it was super sweet. This isn’t personal. However my hair didn’t turn out to what I expect or was told. She told me at the end of my Service that she went more subtle because she didn’t want to give me more vibrant colors and freak me out. When I specifically told her at the beginning of the service multiple times that I wanted it to be bright bold with more dimension not at all what I got. So not only did I have to pay an extra hundred dollars I end up not getting what I wanted.Unfortunately with the amount of salons I will not be returning for these reasons.. just be sure or maybe you get it in writing and what your service will cost.Update: The owner contacted me and said I wasn’t sure where the” miscommunication”came in?!I’m sorry there was no miscommunication except I was told when price and charged another. She offered to credit me back for the extra color that was used. Or I could go back to the salon for another four hours and hope they get it right a second time.Just be aware if you go in for a service and come out with something different don’t expect the salon to take responsibility. “ Miscommunication” When the employee specifically told me at the end I didn’t give you what you wanted because I didn’t wanna freak you out.
