Would not go here under any circumstances. Danielle (the owner of the salon) did not know what she was doing at all and messed up the color of my friends hair pretty bad. The client even informed her ahead of the appointment of the concerns about the color coming out a certain way and still let her leave like this. (half of the hair is a yellow blonde other half is orange brown). Never seen something so awful, unprofessional response to the issue.

I was a noncommittal client for many years until I met Danielle! She has been doing my hair for over 4 years. I have had the brightest of blondes and now working towards my natural color during my postpartum. She can do it all and keep your hair feeling healthy. She makes sure to take the time to listen to exactly what you want. I love Poppy and Pearl’s laid back vibe and beautiful aesthetic.

I don’t think these girls know what they’re talking about and I don’t recommend going to this salon especially if you have anxiety around people. Been needing to write this review since my experience was extremely sad. My visit was a while ago in August, had made the appointment ahead of time, arrived on time and was told by my hairdresser that (upon seeing my hair which was purple and I wanted it dyed red) she couldn’t take the color out of my hair because she wasn’t told her client for that day (me) had purple hair. I had a huge interview the next day so I was extremely upset, she didn’t do anything to make me feel better except attempt to try and get me set up with a “friend” from Protege, who never answered their phone. So get this, I went and called up the next hair salon that was open and Tyme of Change took me in, made me feel super special, and wow, took the purple out of my hair in a matter of 15 minutes and gave me gorgeous auburn hair, ready for the autumn season. Me thinks that the salon gal just didn’t feel like dealing with me that day. Shame considering this place is “highly established” and downtown, but what do you expect from sad pathetic boring elitist people. Go to Tyme of Change!

That’s a NO from me!! My 11 year old daughter came home hiding her head and after it was washed and blow dried here at home it still looked butchered and just unmanageable, she says she looked like “a little farm boy” and I’d agree. I’d give ZERO stars if I could. Absolutely never again.
