Read a coffee table art book at our 10’ living-edge black walnut communal table or cozy up and absorb the sun rays in one of our cozy nooks. Have a cup of drip local coffee or a glass of Napa wine while your talented stylist carves or colors a perfectly-suited look for your lifestyle. We hire established as well as up and coming hairdressers who are committed to ongoing hair education, entrepreneurialism, positivity, and community. Pony Studios is closed on Sundays and Mondays, when we host top educators in cutting, coloring, and styling. Stylists come from all over the world to attend. Pony is also committed to donating 10% of profit to local community organizations.

I have been a client of Eryk’s for 30 years! That is hard to even imagine but it’s true. He has been at Pony Studio’s for 4 years and prior to that a salon in San Ramon for 25 years…. This place is just perfect in so many ways. Talk about cool, retro and inviting. Everyone is an individual and that’s how it should be. Diversity in its raw existence. It’s not inexpensive but you definitely get what you pay for. Give them a try as they all are experts and are very busy!

It was my first time at Pony studios and my first haircut with Summer. Everyone was super friendly at the salon. I liked Summer right off the bat, she really paid attention to my cowlicks and the texture of my hair before she washed or started cutting my hair. She really took her time and styled my hair with its natural curl. I’m not a huge fan of my hair curly, so she ended up blowing it out for me which was so nice. I’ll definitely be coming back in a couple months for another appointment!

Great salon! I like that the space is open and it feels busy and active. You know things are happening in there and you’re gonna look good. I got way to used to trimming at home and needed a new look. Summer hooked it up perfectly, above expectations. My hair looks great, it’s exactly the cut I wanted and confidence is boosted. Everyone working was friendly. 10/10 would recommend.

Everything about my experience was amazing. I had been wanting a dramatic hair change for a while but was too afraid to do it until I found Casey Montalbano at Pony Studios. Everyone as PS was super kind and comforting. I’ve been to many salons where it feels like they just want you in and out of their chair and that was not the case here. Casey took such great care and patience with my curls and haircut. They listened to my concerns and desires for my dream hairstyle and delivered nothing but 1000% better than what I was expecting. I didn’t even entirely know what I wanted nor did I show them a picture, they are just that talented. When I saw the final results, I got a bit emotional because I loved it so much and it was such a huge change for me! I will definitely be returning to Pony Studios and continue to only use them for my hair needs. Book with them soon!

This is my second time going to Pony studios. The first time I took my daughter for her 15th birthday, she wanted a new haircut and they totally nailed it! My daughter had a great experience. This time I booked a haircut for my self and Brittany was very attentive and funny! I had a great time conversing with her and she really paid attention to what I was looking for! She didn’t over cut my hair and gave me a very cute layered cut with face framing bangs and she took her time to style my hair! Love it!
