Debbie does the BEST nails ever!! Not only is she super talented she is also super kind! I have gone to her for 6 years and that was after trying every place in town. LOVE MY RESULTS. I just moved to the area and I’m always so nervous to find a new hair salon. I checked this place out before booking an appointment to see what the environment was like. The staff was very friendly and the studio itself is absolutely adorable. I booked an appointment with Patty and she did an incredible job. Not only was she super friendly and easy to chat with, she ensured that I was comfortable the entire time. She also gave me great suggestions according to my hair type and highlighted my hair in a way that will be much easier to maintain. I’m so happy with my results and my experience. I will definitely be back.

Went in for a facial waxing and hair cut, upon arrival the staff was dealing with a rat problem in the store. I wasn’t seated until after Carrie was off of her phone. Once I was seated and getting shampooed, the employees were shouting to eachother about the rat, very loudly across from me as I was trying to relax. After I was sat, the haircut was fine, I felt that I was finally being paid attention to. Once we moved on to the facial waxing, Carrie abandoned the station in the middle of the session because someone showed up to take care of the rat, I felt extremely undervalued, even less than a rat?? Carrie was obviously very distracted through both sessions, not to mention my skin was reacting crazy to the wax. She kept telling me “Your skin is reacting odd”, “You must have very sensitive skin” and questioned the products I use on my face, yet she continued to wax away knowing something was wrong. I did tell her my face was starting to sting and when we finished and she handed me a mirror, I noticed my skin was ripped off! About 3/4 of an inch completely waxed off. She made the conclusion that because I’m on my menstrual cycle (TMI sorry) my skin is more sensitive then usual, and apologized for not asking sooner. Maybe if she wasn’t so distracted on a rat instead of her paying client, this could have been avoided. Yes I still paid, yes it still hurts a day later.

*** editing this to clarify some things. Yes one of my appointments I was past due. I was back east for the holidays. Had I been in the state of Washington I would’ve surely been there to have everything done. That thing said I did take proper care of my hair as I did have masks from Polished for my hair and was doing that regularly. It’s not my fault that you have poor judgment as far as telling me when the hair should or should not be taken out. I’ve heard from quite a few other clients/contacts that you overcharge and you have messed up their hair extensions. You’re not certified you shouldn’t be doing them. I have seen you when I have bags with me because often I am literally coming from Seattle getting off Amtrak and trying to make our appointments. According to you that was never a problem. If that had been a problem you should’ve voiced your concerns at that point. It was only after I went to Debbie when I couldn’t get a hold of you that you tried to make things right and you had a major attitude. I was a good client for 3 1/2 years I don’t deserve a major attitude when I go to the owner of the salon to ask about how to get a hold of you. I am sorry that my pet apparently triggered you. You talking about your future abortion while you’re doing my hair and spending most of the time in the bathroom triggered me.

Samantha was my stylist and she was awesome. Very sweet woman. It was a very busy day and yet she was still committed to taking her time with my hair trim and layers. Even gave me some advice on how to dye my hair at home (which came in handy because I dyed it later that night). I did knock down a star for general cleanliness but other than that the staff was very kind.
