I’ve been to the Polished Myers Park location before and was very happy with the outcome. They were booked so I went to the location on Park Road and could not be more upset with how my nails turned out. I asked the woman to cut my nails and she held up her hand as if to tell me to stop talking. She then turned around to eat something during my manicure (very unsanitary.. I also have food allergies which could have been dangerous if I ended up being allergic to what she was eating since she didn’t wash her hands). I showed her the design I originally wanted done and she shook her head and told me no. I continued to look for something else and was then told no again. I gave up and asked for a French manicure and up with the WORST “French manicure design”. It looks like a 5 year old child did my nails… they’re all different lengths, the lines aren’t straight.. just awful. If you’re wanting to go to a Polished location, go to Myers Park instead. Worst manicure experience I’ve ever had at Park Road.

Great location, interiors, comfortable chairs, and convenient parking. Services are too quick. I sat down, blinked my eyes, and she was finishing my toes. No trim, just a quick rub down and polish. She volunteered to do my fingernails and with all the extra time gained, I said sure. Instead of a real manicure she cut my fingernails (I really wish she would have cut my toe nails) and buffed them. I begged her to do a real manicure, and was glad to pay, but she said I didn’t need it. My cuticles could have used the work. This last visit is representative of a progression of steady declines with each passing visit. My thoughts are that the techs are rushed by management. When you pay that much, I expect a lot more time and attention to details. I’ve been many times to this location, but will look for another place that in a safe location, has good parking, and better service. I wish this was my place – it’s so convenient. Hopefully reviewers will let readers know that they improve their service standards.

***UNCLEAN*** I got a nasty infection ~3 weeks after getting a gel manicure here. It spread across all of my fingers and I was put on 3 different STAPH infection medications because the problem wasn’t getting better. My fingers have never looked the same and probably will never be the same again. You have been warned. It only takes one time.

I am not one to come on here and write reviews especially nail salons (even if i’m not 100% happy with the result) but I felt the need to express how much of a horrible experience I had at this location. My friend and I decided to try Polished today and this location looked super cute but as soon as I sat down the lady doing my nails told me I shouldn’t do my normal SNS dip and change to acrylics and when I politely declined she rolled her eyes and continued. I had wanted a similar color as my current toe polish and she “color matched” the color. As soon as she started the dip process I told her I didn’t love the pink and it was totally different than my toe color. (my toes are like a bubblegum pink and she was putting a wine color on my nails) She was aggravated when I asked to not continue with the color as it was not remotely close and she was extremely rude. I chose a different color and she started putting the light color over the current dark color and it looked literally horrible like so chalky and thick (instead of removing the initial sns color she tried to layer it on top) When I told her to remove it again she said it was my fault for picking the color. She also cut my cuticle and when I asked if I could wash my hands she put some blue colored gel on top of the cut. I asked if someone else could do my nails and she said it would be an hour wait but she couldn’t finish my nails so I walked out. This was the worst experience I have ever had! Do not go here!! The picture is how I walked out.

This is by far the best nail salon I have been to in Charlotte since I’ve been here they take their time and do an amazing job with the shape of my nails because I have natural nails they curve slightly so they make sure the polish gets on every inch of it it does a phenomenal job Diem is amazing Nail painting, Nail polish changes, Polish removal

My 1st experience was great. My usual nail place was packed, this salon was a great back up. I loved the layout and I felt like I was in an actual bar. David is a great pedicurist

Wish I read the reviews before I sat down in the chair. I didn’t have a bad experience but definitely didn’t have a good experience. My nail tech was nice as can be. My main concerns were 1) the nail tech didn’t file my nails after cutting them 2) she didn’t pull a fresh pack of tools, she used an already open pack of tools. How am I supposed to know these are sanitized and haven’t been used on other clients? 3) the basic pedicure doesn’t include much. I didn’t get a leg scrub or hot like I’d normally expect, nor did they scrub feet with soap and a brush. I had the lady skip cuticles after seeing her not pull out a fresh pack of tools. I did get lotion and a 2 second callus scrub but everything was very rushed.

I’ve been a few times (south end location too) and both places I’ve not had the best nails 🙁 most places my sns last weeks. This last time my nail color is all faded at the bottom and three have cracked in less than a week. It’s expensive when you don’t get what you want :/

Paid $50+ tip for dip and 4 nails have chipped within 3 days. By far the worst I’ve ever had. Here is a picture of 2 of the 4. Dip powder

My nail tec was so sweet and kind. But getting a pedicure they asked if I wanted my calluses scrubbed… that was extra. I always thought that was just part of a pedicure. Also, they never put a top coat on my nails, so they don’t look any better than what I’d do at home. Again, very sweet tech, but overall disappointing experience Pedicure
