I was fine with the wait (2.5 hours), because I was a walk-in. I asked for an updo on my locs. The stylist was nice, but inexperienced with locs. Im only giving 1 star because establishment was clean and appealing to the eye. I’m upset because I expected a better experience honestly. I haven’t had a perm in over 8 years therefore say I had thick healthy hair all around my head . They took me as a walk in . I just asked for a blowout giving I was a walk it. It’s quicker . Mid way through the wash she asks if I was to do two braids. That way it’s styled she said she could do that for me . Wrong idea . Need less to say . After flatironing . Head combing plus combing . My HAIR BROKE OFF . Not even days after the back of the two braids were DETACHED.meaning no hair holding the hair weave . I only had two braids . Granted my hair was thick but it shows how much head and pressure was truly put on my hair I lost INCHES. not to mention when doing two braids gel is used . Not this time . Straight jam. I came home my friend said something about the parting in the back I was just over it . By the time I took my hair out and washed it . You might as well say I had got a brush cut around and left the top of my hair regular length. My feelings are hurt more than anything m I would just say study how to manage natural 4c hair. Or have the actual hairstylist do the hair . So eone filled in for her after my wash because her regular who was late came in . Nothing can make it right . Just know how to care for hair guys

Critical: Professionalism, Punctuality, ValueI booked an appointment a week or so out, the receptionist stated my appointment was at 9am. I arrived at 9am and the salon stated they open at 10am. I waited. When the 1st stylist arrived she tried everything to contact my stylist, no success. My stylist didn’t show up until 11am! No apology or anything. I booked an appointment a week or so out, the receptionist stated my appointment was at 9am. I arrived at 9am and the salon stated they open at 10am. I waited. When the 1st stylist arrived she tried everything to contact my stylist, no success. My stylist didn’t show up until 11am! No apology or anything. The professionalism has definitely went down at the salon. I will be going elsewhere.

Critical: Professionalism, Punctuality, ValueMy 3rd visit to this salon was horrible. I did get my hair washed and blow dried but the stylist ( Shamere) never showed up to finish the job. I sat and waited and waited and none of the other staff ever checked on me let alone see if I wanted something to drink after waiting so long. I left with my hair looking like the poodle who had just won the dog show with my hair wild and crazy looking. BTW they still charged me $25 for the wash and blow dry which I think should have been free after all the waiting I did. Please be more professional if you make an appointment keep it or let me know ahead of time that you can’t keep it. My time is just as valuable as yours. My 1st 2 visits for my daughter and I were ok but we will not be returning.My 3rd visit to this salon was horrible. I sat and waited and waited and none of the other staff ever checked on me let alone see if I wanted something to drink after waiting so long. I have natural 4C hair. The stylist did coil twist in my hair it looked nice and lasted several weeks. The assistant did an excellent job with the wash experience. My hair was clean and she did a mini massage. The massage was well needed.
