I’ve not had a bad experience at this place. I find that my no chip manicures last for about a month which is amazing compared to the max 2 week life from other salons. My nails have never been as healthy as they are when I began coming to Polished. All the nail techs have been friendly and have stood by their work. I HIGHLY recommend this place to have the best looking and best cared for nails possible!

I’ve been going to Polished for almost four years now and I have had more than my fair share of laughs and good conversation. Not to mention, my nails always look cute af! Carly is talented, personable, and always puts her clients first. It’s no wonder her schedule is always booked! I have also gone to Rose on several occasions. She is sweet, kind, and an insanely skilled nail artist. The owner, Erricka is professional and takes time to engage with all clients. I have also had consistent service with the receptionists. I have been going to Polished Beauty Bar for many many years now. I went from having short nails that I rarely painted on my own, to now having long natural nails that are strong and always beautifully painted by Carly or Erricka. I’m a Mom that constantly has my hands in bath water or dish water and my polish never chips and my nails never break. The ladies at Polished not only make my hands look great but the time I spend with them relaxes my mind and brings a smile to my face.

I waited 2 months for a pedicure I never received. My daughter and I were going on vacation and we had appointments booked at the same time. We arrived early and they sat us both so we could soak our feet. My daughters pedicure started on time and her tech was super nice and friendly. My appointment never started because my tech was too busy chatting with her previous client… 20 minutes into MY appointment time. No one ever came up and apologized for the delay, asked if I needed to change the service to a shorter one or even offer to have another tech get started on me. There was another tech sitting there playing on her phone the whole time I was there and she could have at least started the service and I would have tipped her nicely. Instead, I sat there for 20 min and finally got so mad, I told them to cancel my appiuntment. They didn’t even care. No apology, no nothing. The tech I was supposed to have only said “that happens sometimes.” I’m a widow. My husband died very suddenly at the end of January and all I wanted was to have someone paint my toes other than me. To have something nice done for me after everything I’ve been through. These people don’t care about their clients or their client’s experience at their “beauty bar”. Most of the techs and receptionist looked like thet rolled out of bed and went to work. Then they had a 11 or 12 year old “cleaning” the pedicure tubs and she barely even cleaned them as I was sitting there watching her when I should have been getting a pedicure. I worked at a spa for many years as a concierge. This is not how clients should be treated whether they are paying cash or with a gift card. This place needs some customer service classes and maybe a visit for the health inspector. Spend your money elsewhere, this place is trash and so are the people who run it.

I booked at Polished for eyelash extensions for my upcoming wedding. I wanted to do a test run a couple weeks before the wedding to make sure I wasn’t allergic etc. The front desk called to confirm my appt and at that time I asked if there was anything I needed to do to prep for it. They said no. I came a day or two later and got them done. The gal who did them was very sweet but did mention that the front desk should have told me that I shouldn’t have worn eye makeup. They looked great and I headed home. Unfortunately, the following morning they had all fallen off minus about 10 individual lashes. I called first thing the next day to let them know. I was assuming they would give me a refund since they were literally on for less than 24 hours (Keep in mind they were 190.00). They told me I needed another appointment to talk about it and got me in about a week later.

It’s really cute and comforting but I expected more when I first walked in definitely didn’t get a good welcome. The ladies who did my daughter’s and my pedicure didn’t make conversation this place is over priced did not receive the best pedicure when I got home noticed how bad my toes where painted I’ve gone to this place in the past but stop going for the same reason decided to go back but still wasn’t satisfied with my pedicure.

I was supposed to have an appointment today before I was to leave out of town. I got there and was told it had been canceled by the staff last weekend. No phone call or email. I was then told that because of me missing a couple appointments 12-18 months ago, they would not see me. Every one of those appointments had to be canceled the same day due to covid concerns and once because my child was in the ER. They left out the fact that they had canceled on me numerous times when they had to fire their lash tech, and then couldn’t find someone to replace her. Most of those times were same day cancellations on their end. A couple times during covid when I had to wait in my car to be calls in for my appointment time, they were 20-30-40 minutes behind and made me sit there and wait. So it’s absolutely ok for them do it this to the paying client but you turn away good business because of cancellations due to covid over a year ago. I supposed I could have gone with covid and breathed on my tech. The girl that manages the front desk, Beth, is terribly unprofessional and rude and I think she is the primary reason why they have lost most of their good techs and their business. When I used to visit this place regularly, the techs gossiped about each other and spoked poorly about one another in front of customers. It’s unfortunate to see them fail this bad.
