I took my 92 year old Mother who is on Hospice to Ming ( who happened to have a cancellation). She was professional, friendly ,quite patient and accommodating. Yeah, you get a dip but that’s it! No manicure. I had to ask if she was going to soak my nails or push back my cuticles. She used a mechanical tool to push back cuticles without soaking or applying Creme. Didn’t trim either.

The one I use the most is the business owner, Ming, and I always feel amazing about my nails after she does them. I had Ming do my wedding nails recently and did a soft pink acrylic with iridescent sparkle and was absolutely in love with it. It was the perfect for what I was going for. I can’t speak highly enough about this nail salon. I have used all the stylists for my nails and they have all done a wonderful job. The one I use the most is the business owner, Ming, and I always feel amazing about my nails after she does them. This place is the only place to go to get a good manicure. I have been a customer of every other nail salon in Columbia but learned very quickly that an appointment was basically a rough idea of when you might get your nails done. I don’t have time to sit and wait 45 minutes and all the while watching my intended appointment come and go. With polished, I have my appointments set, I walk in and they are ready for me. I’ve NEVER had to wait. Ladies this is a very upscale place to get your nails done so plan accordingly. Make your appointment but if you want to walk in, especially during prime time, don’t expect them to have an opening. I have my appointments booked 5 months in advance. So about my nails, they SCULPT my acrylic on and if you’ve never had your nails SCULPTED, then you’re in for a treat. They look EXPENSIVE! They look AWESOME and I get compliments daily on how nice my nails look. They’ve never looked better. Me go and her ladies are very professional, courteous and easy going. When I walk in, they know me and treat me as a regular should be treated. These ladies are ARTISTS and put a lot of effort into making sure your nails are looking their best and you have a nice relaxed experience. I will never go anywhere but here.

I’ve been getting my nails done by Ming for years. She also has done brown threading, bikini waxing, and special occasion makeup for me (including my wedding makeup). Ming makes you feel comfortable and always makes sure you leave happy with your services.

Exceptional everything! And attention to detail on EVERYTHING! You couldn’t ask for more, but if you did, at a place like this you just might get it! Also my nails have never looked better or lasted longer. I can’t imagine going somewhere else for nails in Columbia, having been to Polished!
