i absolutely love polish + paint and all the work they’ve done on my nails over the last 7 yrs! ask for jesse or jack—they’re incredible! it’s a little pricey but when you consider that they’re close to dtla, usc, etc, and their quality of work, the price is worth it

The service is EXCELLENT! Very good manicurists & wonderful customer care. I recently moved to LA and tried so many shops from very high end to very low end. Polish + Paint exceeds them all! Decent place but pricey could use a bit of a clean up. I continue to go here even though they charge more and more every time. Their pricing is not fixed so they can up charge you whatever. For example I have hard gel. they said hard gel mani $55 fill $30 yet when I go to get a fill they charge $55 dollars no matter what. Need to invest the time in finding a place with more consistent pricing. Without every little thing being an up charge for example a mani is 30 but if you want your nails and cuticles trimmed it costs 40 cannot seem to get out of there without spending $120 or more. Also bring cash there is a fee for cc use.

Always very crowded! You are PACKED in there. I suggest to have an appointment but you can usually make one the same day. I fell it is also very expensive. Expect to spend over $120 on gel mani/pedi here plus tip. Helen is a very good artist who can do many trending designs but you have to know exactly what you want and have a picture. Don’t expect to them to bring the inspiration, want to try something new or be creative. You can tip through venmo. They take credit cards and apple pay, Samsung pay and they have an ATM. Parking here can also be very crowded with all the other businesses in the same shopping center.

I went there one early afternoon I had a party to go to an I said try this place you are right here, waited afew minutes and the took me in Tiffany ask me what type of nails I wanted I said very short, she finished me in 40 min I was surprised the new process was nice not alot for filing your nails . They turned out nice and I will go back, note they are really busy on the weekend the parking lot is small but it is worth it I live my nails.

I came here to get my acrylic nails removed and get a basic gel manicure. My nail lady was unable to remove my nails but insisted in still doing the gel manicure. I left with a horrible, sloppy, and bumpy gel manicure. When I complained they charged me for the removal of the acrylic & “clean up” even though she did not completely remove the acrylic. After have them for a couple hours they began to peel off which then exposed a wet nail. I tried calling back & the front desk man argued with me & said I need to give it time & then come & pay for a new set. I am very dissatisfied with my experience & will never come back.

It’s been less than a week I paid $85 dollars the first day my middle one had broken I went back to fix them but look how thin they make them and to pay $85 it’s not worth it… I’m a cannabis tender so my nails shouldn’t be breaking at all I don’t do heavy work

The gel manicure looked great for the first couple days but started chipping after 5 days. The gel ended up cracking and ripping off the ends of a few of my nails with it. Had to go to a new place and get acrylics after this to fix it. Gel manicures
