I have been receiving regular pedicures for almost 2 years here and have always been very pleased. Let me preface the rest of this review saying my first pedicure in Chicago 5 years ago was a nightmare that led to an infected toe that required medical attention for months, so I’m very particular about pedicures now. When I found this salon I was happy as it’s pretty close to home and every woman who’s provided pedicures has done a great job….until today. The young woman who started my pedicure seemed very uninterested in her work. Most of the time she was staring at the wall or at other clients. She was holding the nail clippers backwards and appeared like she had never used them before. I told her 3 times that my nails needed to be cut more, as she essentially wasn’t cutting them at all. Three times I told her the corner of my nail was digging into my skin and she never addressed it. She put lotion on at the end and then wiped it all off with a towel immediately. My nail shapes are different on each foot because she did a complete foot start to finish (minus the polish) before doing the next. Then another woman came to handle the polish portion of the service and I asked her to look at my nail in my skin and she didn’t even look at it. I am extremely disappointed today and will not be back. I made an appointment hours in advance but it felt like they were too busy and had the first employee provide services she’s not trained too offer.

I never write reviews… but this place is awful. Every time I’ve been in for a manicure it’s incredibly rushed— my nails dry for longer than the technician actually worked on them. They refuse to do any nail art on regular manicures, insisting it has to be no chip. For those of us who don’t like no chip, we know it’s as simple as letting the base coat dry before doing the art. They refused, probably because they don’t want to take the time. Every other nail salon in this neighborhood has better service and care than this place, and better prices. Don’t let the nice store front fool you— go somewhere else.

Very VERY disappointed in the last two times I have came here. I have been coming for almost two years and always had a good experience until lately. Overly rough and aggressive during the pedicure. Speeding through it when it should be something relaxing. On top of that, my toes are all cut up cause it was burning . Will NEVER be back again.

The service at Plush Nail Salon is always great. They have a good variety of colors. The salon is all white and is always clean. The only place I come for mine and my daughters pedicures. My sister now goes here.

This is my second review I have ever written. I either write when I happy beyond happy with a service or in this case not happy one bit. I would like to give a zero star rating but I was required to give one. A couple of my nails came out bumpy and that was after I had to wait 10 minutes to even look at colors when I arrived for my 6pm appointment. Now, today on the third day, I notice that a nail is missing. Completely just came off. I paid $55 for a dip manicure not including a tip and now one is missing. I will never go back for that reason and because it all seemed rushed and the lady at the front seemed annoyed.

This place was wonderful! Eight of us came (with an appointment) for a bachelorette party, and everyone was very happy! The bride-to-be was particularly impressed because she pulled up a picture on Google of beautiful pink and gold nails, and they were able to do it for her! We will definitely be coming back here to do our nails before the wedding.

I have been a couple of times but will have to stop going. This last visit was a bit too much for me. Everyone is very nice but unfortunately my nail tech was very rough. I got home and saw my thumb was bleeding. She also had long nails which dug into my hands and I had to ask her to move her hands several times because it was painful. I got a simple straight line with tape and one is already lifting. I forgot to ask for no lotion hand massage, the lotion is very chemical smelling and hard to wash off.

The woman doing my nails cut three of my cuticles to where the rest of me manicure hurt because I was bleeding. Any normal business at this point to keep customers happy would have provided discounts but nope. I feel like she was rushing because they were busy and i kept having to tell her she skipped a step. The woman doing my nails cut three of my cuticles to where the rest of me manicure hurt because I was bleeding.
