I had an amazing experience at Plum today. I have very fine, thin and fragile hair that has never had any process done to it before. I really like the way the sun highlights it in the summer time, so I showed her a picture of it and asked her if she could do something similar to that. She was amazing; she listened, was attentive and very understanding of my worries of damaging my hair during this process. So we decided on doing a combination of foils and freehand painting. The results were exactly what I wanted! I absolutely LOVE it! It’s so natural and blended looking; no one on the street would ever know I had gotten it highlighted. They would assume I had gone on a tropical vacation and my hair had been kissed by the sun.

My stylist was very nice and friendly and I liked her, but she seemed inexperienced and didn’t give me what I asked for. Hardly anything was done and it took so long, with so many questions, that I just said it was fine. I paid way too much for so little done. Over a hundred bucks for slightly lighter hair and a trim… I might visit once more but I’ll be asking for someone more experienced.
