Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueBest salon and the best stylists! I moved out of state and it is still the only salon I will go to to have my hair done. Everyone at Pluck’s is amazing and they always make sure you look perfect when you leave the salon. I have the thickest hair you’ll ever see, and on top of that it’s wavy and usually unmanageable if I don’t style it right. Tyler is always able to make my hair shinier, less heavy, and more manageable. I’ve had every hair color and style you can think of and Tyler nails it each and every time I change it up. I send everyone to her and she has had to help a few friends out in emergency hair situations with color and she makes it seem like an effortless fix.Also, the milkshake whipped hair products that Pluck’s sells is the best and absolutely amazing. Best salon and the best stylists! I moved out of state and it is still the only salon I will go to to have my hair done. Everyone at Pluck’s is amazing and they always make sure you look perfect when you leave the salon. I’ve been a customer of Tyler’s from Pluck’s Hair Salon for two years. Every time I leave, I’m so pleased with the work that’s been done! Tyler always puts me at ease straight away, asking relevant questions at the start and offering useful advice throughout the appointment. I’ve been getting my hair colored at Pluck’s by Kristyn for years. She took my naturally almost black hair to a natural looking blonde perfectly. No one can believe it’s not my real color!! I recommend her to anyone who is asking, she’s not only an amazing colorist but a great person and so easy to get along with. I look forward to my appointments every time!! Tyler and Amber have both also cut my hair and I’m very picky and they do exactly what I want each time 🙂 10/10

It’s hard to explain this place. There is really no other hair salon like it — at least of the ones I have patronized — and I have patronized many. You know the feeling you get when you walk into one of those chichi hair salons, the feeling that you will have spent a small fortune by the time they are through with you? Well, Pluck’s fine Haircutting is not that kind of a place. It doesn’t work at being stylish or current with over-the-top decor and far-out couture. No-one is walking around with blue hair and piercings up and down their face like a villain out of a Clive Barker horror film. It just is — unpretentious, stylish, cool, and relevant. The owner, Christopher, has been at it for decades, a luminary in his own right with his patent hair cutting technique. For him hair styling is an act of transformation. Every haircut, a masterpiece. The other three stylists, Amber, Kristyn and Tyler, also extremely competent and professional, with their generally laid back demeanor, work well together and in juxtaposition to Christopher’s quirky English manner. It’s quite fun to watch them. Tyler has been doing my hair for close to three years, the longest I have ever been with any one hair stylist. She is that good and I am not easy to please! If you are looking for an above average haircut at moderate to low pricing Tyler is your stylist. If you are looking for someone who knows color and can work miracles on any messed up hair you bring to her, Tyler is your stylist. If you are looking for a stylist who listens without an attitude or frustration in her voice when she explains to you for the 10th time why a certain cut won’t work for you or that the last time she obliged you didn’t like it, Tyler is your stylist. I haven’t had the pleasure of working with Kristin, Amber or Christopher, but I have seen the results of their work and not once have I witnessed a disgruntled customer. Lastly, the ladies research and try hair products on themselves, and make those that are superior in quality and moderately priced available to clients for purchase.

I”ve finally found him, Christopher Plunk! Yesterday I was in despair with a failed cut and color, thinking there was little hope. Today I am feeling fabulous with the best hair cut of my life, making me feel fabulous and free! Christopher Plunk is my hair cut hero!
