Vyvyan did the most beautiful and amazing job on a custom memorial tattoo to honor my mother, which included her handwriting, and I could not be any happier with how it turned out!! She did absolutely perfect and was such a fun person!! Everybody here was amazing and it was a great experience all the way around!! She was also able to work myself and my friend in when she received a cancelation while we were on our trip! Will definitely go back next time we are in town!

The whole crew there is awesome! Very personable, talented, and professional. There is a lot of talent working inside those 4 walls and all you have to do is look on those walls for your proof of that, the art there is amazing! In talking with them you can tell that they are very into the aspect of creating something original and expressive and a good relationship with your artist can be the difference between a good tattoo and a truly great one. The facility itself is immaculate and I hear that they are starting to do soon piercings as well. Very worth your time to check out if you are in the market.

Zoe drew up my tattoo and prepped up her station and was tattooing me by 3:30PM. She tattooed a wave on my forearm and did a fantastic job! Great place to get a tattoo while you’re on vacation! The price was fair and everyone was nice and friendly.

I have visited Pleasure Island Tattoo multiple times over the past 2 years for different tattoos and every time I leave very pleased. All of the artists are awesome and are very good at what they do. They will take your ideas and come up with something you will definitely love. It is a clean, comfortable, and chill place. All of my tattoos have healed great over time and still look as great as they did the day I got them. I always look forward to going to this place and would recommend to anyone wanting a tattoo or piercing.

This place was awesome! I came in on vacation looking for some new ink, Jesse knew exactly what I had in mind and drew something custom for me. The prices were really fair but the people were the best part! We sat and talked shop while he tatted up myself, my mom, and my brother. It was my moms first tattoo ever and he made her extremely comfortable with the process and everyone absolutely loved their finished product. Highly recommend this shop if your live close or are just visiting and want something custom to commemorate your trip. Thanks again guys!

Critical: Professionalism, PunctualityIf you want a tattoo from these folks, you better know how to play the run-around game to get an appointment. Apparently I don’t know how to play that game.Called for an appointment (tattoo) on a Thursday morning. Was told by whomever answered the phone to come in and plan it out.Went to the establishment immediately on same day – described what was desired- a simple, small tattoo- Someone “wrote my name and phone number on the list” and told me they would call back that afternoon. No one called.I called back on the next day, Friday morning, to check on the status of the requested appointment. I was told that I was “still on the list”, and someone would call me back on Friday probably by the end of the day. I asked if I could go ahead and make an appointment and was told that it was better to just wait and have someone call me back.It is now Monday, 5 days since I went to the establishment and asked for an appointment for a tattoo, and still no one has bothered to called me back.QUESTION: WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO GET A TATTOO FROM THIS PLACE?Hey Pleasure Island Tattoos- Here’s a piece of advice from a business owner: not calling a potential customer back, even if it’s simply to say that you’re busy now, but willing to book an appointment for later, is very bad business!NOT IMPRESSED!!If you want a tattoo from these folks, you better know how to play the run-around game to get an appointment.
