Mary Lou has cut my curly hair for several years now. I have gone elsewhere and was never as happy or satisfied as I am when I leave an appointment with her. Not only is she incredibly nice but she always listens to what I have to say and to my concerns. She makes suggestions but doesn’t push anything I’m not comfortable with. I feel completely relaxed in her chair and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone, especially those of us with more challenging curly hair!

I was there to get a simple bang trim and as soon as we walked in the woman behind the counter helping another customers walks away from them to go help us. She starts going through my hair and tells me that she’s 99% sure I have lice. I had an important place to be tomorrow so I was getting really stressed and nervous. She recommended this place close by that gets rid of lice so I go and guess what? I don’t have lice. It was a build up of product and the woman at the lice removal place told us that there was definitely a way to tell between the two. The woman at the salon was rude the whole time to me and completely unsympathetic and I’ll never be going back there.
