Critical: ProfessionalismHad tanned here two years ago and arrived at 6:45 pm Thursday evening to find their doors locked. I tapped on the glass and a young girl answered the door. She seemed annoyed and said they take their last person at 6:45 because they close at 7. I’ve never known a business to lock their door 15 minutes before their closing time. Who does this? Someone had also painted white blobs over the old closing hours and then sharpied in the new time but it was illegible. I should have just left at that point but did wind up pre-paying for a month.On my way home I found another tanning place closer to my house that closes at 9pm. When I called Platinum Sol the next morning to cancel, having never tanned or used the service, the girl said she would talk to her manager. I spent the next 3 weeks trying to get a hold of someone only to finally be told by the manager there are no refunds. Refunds??? I never tanned!. This policy was not posted anywhere and not communicated when the girl took my credit card. Celebrity Tanning was $38 less for higher tier beds! Even better I now don’t have to endure Platinum Sol’s constant harassing to buy their overprice tanning lotion. Had tanned here two years ago and arrived at 6:45 pm Thursday evening to find their doors locked. I tapped on the glass and a young girl answered the door.
