Tried this new salon out near my home and was not impressed with the first service I received (Fill-in and Pedicure) but I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt so I came back again for a Regular Shellac manicure and pedicure. The service was great and staff were very nice but the quality and effort my nail tech put in was very poor. The job she did was equivalent to me or my friends doing nails and it felt as though she was rushing so she could get as many people into the salon as she possibly could. I had to come home and file my nails myself due to the poor effort she gave. My nails were uneven and I had to correct her while she was doing my nails multiple times as well as instead of soaking my acrylic off she just popped them off with a tool which potentially causes more damage to my nails.

I have been to Platinum Nail & Spa several times. I have been very happy with their work and attention to detail. Today I was paired with someone, whom I believe is a new employee, he was tall and very nice when talking with him. But, throughout the experience he was paying attention to everything around him, most times not even looking at what he was doing to my toes. He kept yawning and I had to remind him that he forgot to do certain things to one foot or the other. The box or kit that he pulled his things from was very disorganized and things thrown in there with no lids on them. When applying the color he was sloppy and then kept wiping around all the toes with his latex glove until he finally went and got a brush and nail polish remover to clean them up. When finished, my nails still showed the old color around the edges of my big toe and my toes in general were all scratched up. I paid for the shellac and found clear shellac all over my toes, it was dripping off the the lid when he was applying it but he didn’t notice. He took a rough nail file to the fresh paint when he was finished and scraped up the ends of all the nails. I will probably go back, but will ask for one of the girls instead, I have been happy any other time.

Friend and I went here for the first time on Saturday and I took my 8 yr old niece with me. We were sitting at the pedicure seats long enough that the water started to get cold. For my nieces pedi the just cleaned up her toe nails and painted them and that was it she wanted a design on the big toe and acted like that was a big deal. Then for the manicures my friends shellac already chipped on one of her nails. Mine I do not think they did a very good job on at all. I do not think the service my niece and I got was worth what we paid. We will not be going back.

I came in on Wednesday, December 21. They had me sit at a station and one of the guys came to do my shellac manicure. He looked like he had no idea where anything was, soaked my hands in cold water and then barely cleaned up my cuticles. He kept trying to give me to other people and then would sit down and continue. The shellac is done horribly!! He wiped it off 4-5 times because he couldn’t figure it out. Then a woman came over to do a candy cane design I had a picture of, not even close! I should have stopped them several times, but they were so busy. I will not be going back to this salon.

I went here and the girl who did my feet and extra rock massage was very rough and it did not feel good. One of the worst pedis I’ve had. Punching the bottom of my feet at the end of the massage. We made appointments and the didn’t start my friend until I was already done. She got shellac and they didn’t put on a top coat on one foot. So the next day one foot was super dull and the other was shiny!?!?! I would go somewhere else

We had planned on using their business. Called in the morning and scheduled an appointment. When we arrived they were swamped. They were taking walk-ins even though they did not have enough staff to cover everyone. They sat us in a chair where we put our feet in cold water. The gentleman spoke to others around us but not to us. Even when asked a question. Will never return here. We walked out.
