Please make sure to ask for Erick. He’s always booked so you might need an appointment but he’s the one. Actually everyone at this place does a fresh fade but Erick is a cut above the rest in my opinion which is why I’ve been going to him for years. I travel for over an hour just to get my fade here. Highly recommend!

Love this place. This is what a modern barber shop should be, some where you can sit down and talk and the service is great. I normally get my hair cut done by Rey I been following him for a long time (for a good reason). Fair pricing also theirs a good reason why they have multiple locations. Highly recommend this place.

Just moved to Cicero from Pittsburgh and I’ve been looking for a quality barber. Leo cut my hair exactly the way I wanted, was extremely friendly and personable, and did it quickly but with precision. I will definitely 100% be coming back here to see Leo again he did an amazing job and the atmosphere itself in this Barber Shop is great also. I went to one other place when I first moved here and it was extremely overpriced and the guy did not listen to what I wanted and gave me a haircut that I did not ask for. Definitely happy I came to Platinum Fades. Ask for Leo. He’s cool as hell and has skills.

I get there, I walk in. I take a seat, there’s three guys and there is a guy on the bench sleeping! His coworker has to wake him up, and tell him he has customers. He got up, took his time and called me to the seat. I told him what I wanted, he said okay, asked how again I told him short and he asked “half” I said shorter then half. He said “half..” then he asked about the sides I said a one and he said zero, I was like can we do 1? And he said zero! Was I there to get my haircut? Or for him to get his haircut? And then he asked about the back if I wanted it squared and I told him no, I showed him a picture of how I wanted it and he said okay. Through out the whole haircut process! He was on his phone! And would stop constantly. But at the end he shows me the front but not the back… why? Because when I get home! I checked and He obviously didn’t do what I wanted he still gave me a square. But he still had the nerve of asking for 25$. Will never go back again! Never! The inside of this place is modern and nice but what’s the point of that if the haircut is trash and there work ethic is worse.
