I just really wanted to take the time to provide my feedback on my experience thus far at my Planet Tan location. I have been a member and frequenting the north richland hills location for several months now. At the beginning of my time spent here I felt a tad uncomfortable. I didn’t know very much about tanning or products and the employees honestly seemed more interested in selling me more products than helping me to find the right products first. I had stopped coming in for a while dissappoited that I had bought so much (400$) in products only to learn that they weren’t what I needed and I felt somewhat defeated. Stopped by for a quick tan. Highly aggressive front desk tactics to sell you lotions. After I kindly refused the products, the aggressive front desk tactics turned to retaliation and my tan time was cut down to a waste of time. I am a monthly paying customer. I have lotion from my previous visit. This may not effect you directly front desk aggressor, but it will the owner when I take my business elsewhere. Customer service education is strongly encouraged for front desk staff!

Just horrible. Staff is constantly trying to upgrade or sell something. Even gone so far as to add “upgrades” to my account without informing me and then telling me I requested it (I absolutely did not). Definitely cancelling my membership at the end of this billing cycle. Save yourself, find another place to tan!

Awful sales girl! I went in knowing exactly what I wanted and she tried and tried to sell everything to me. I ended up buying the cheapest product she had offered just because she said over and over again that I would “love” it. I ended up with dark orange blotches all over my body that I had to wipe off as best as I could with the handi-wipes they provide in the tanning rooms. When I came out and she asked me how I liked it and I told her that I didn’t like it at all. She was somewhat rude and didn’t even offer to refund the extra money I had paid for the product she had gushed over! These salespeople must be offered some pretty good bonuses for selling their overpriced, awful products.

I have been a member here since 2006. I opened my account here on North Tarrant and Davis in NRH. Ive never had a problem with customer service, actually the employees have always gone above and beyond for me. I’ve even met some friends in the process that work here! Tonight I came in for my usual spray tan and when I walked in I was asked in the very most annoyed voice “What’s your name” then I told her she said “last”!! No hi how are you? Good evening but WHATS YOUR NAME… Well to the rude lady working tonight I am terribly sorry for causing you inconvenience by coming in to tan I also would like to apologize to whomever you had on SPEAKER phone when I walked in. I totally apologize for interrupting your conversation. .. I do no look forward to coming back here EVER. Even contemplating closing my account and going to Mega. I am disgusted by the female working tonight. . Gosh if you don’t want to be at work or hate your job PLEASE do all of us a favor and DONT TAKE IT OUT ON LOYAL CUSTOMERS! Oh and I would say her name but of course she wasn’t wearing a name tag even though I’m pretty sure it’s mandatory. It was 9:40 pm on Sunday December 27, 2015.

This is the most consistently dirty tanning salon I have ever used. Although I have been filling out their surveys and have notified the attendants of this problem, however nothing has changed. I would not recommend Planet Tan at this time.
