Great tanning bed establishment that is efficiently with the right attitude! I saw the effort put in to keep an establishment above all competitors with their safety and cleanliness extended, plethoras of lotions and proper indoor skin safety products ranging in a moderate price range, and most of all, the beds are up to date, most are new and improved higher functioning beds and bulbs are replaced when necessary!

Every employee I have interacted with has been more than nice, very explanatory and helpful. The prices are better than they’re competitors, as well as their policies. Very clean, never have had to wait for a bed. Beds are very high quality. Discount offers on almost everything, including lotions, which was a huge incentive for me. Pleasant place, pleasant experience. After years of having been a customer at one their competitors, a friend of mine showed me the place, and I was amazed at how customer-friendly and high-quality the employees and the facility is, and I will never go back to anywhere else!

I got the most amazing spray tan from Annie! I never got one before and she told me everything I need to know about maintaining it and staying bronze as long as possible. She gave me the most amazing color and it didn’t streak even when it was fading. I highly recommend her she’s AMAZING and I definitely will be going back.

I have never had a bad experience at Planet Sun. As a person who gets airbrush tans frequently, I am very particular with what I want. Their airbrush technician Annie knows exactly how to give the best, natural looking airbrush glow. She listens to what you want and is very good at explaining what to do prior to your airbrush and after. She is super sweet and has a great way of making everyone feel extremely comfortable whether it’s your first airbrush tan or not!

The worst experience I’ve ever had. I’ve been tanning for years and I’ve never experienced a bed that gives you completely uneven color. I’m splotchy and patchy. There also must have been a bulb out because there’s an even line down my whole back that got 0 tan. So, beyond being splotchy. There’s just a line of no color at all. Pick someplace else, because this place is awful.

This place is unreal. I lived in NYC for 4 years before moving room rutherford and in nyc you can spend easily $200/month on tanning. I could not believe that I could can for $50/month UNLIMITED. I kept thinking there must be a catch, some fine print I was missing. NOPE, just a really great tanning salon with top of the line beds. I am a bit of a tanning snob because I worked at a high end salon back in college so I know ergoline makes the best beds and I really prefer them over any other kind. All the beds at planet sun are ergoline and they carry my favorite lotion brand too (designer skin.) Also you can freeze your membership for $5/month and when you unfreeze it, you get all the money you spend while it was frozen back as store credit to use as you please on goggles or lotion or whatever else you want to spend it on. Seriously cannot even comprehend how they make any money, but I am glad they are such a great salon!

My finance and I are members at the Rutherford location. We absolutely LOVE going to this salon! It’s clean, variety of beds of all levels, there’s never a long wait (other than tryna find parking on a wknd because the area is so nice!) and the staff is just the BEST. We’ve tanned at quite a few salons over the years and honestly, this place is hand down the greatest. All of the girls at the Rutherford location are just beyond outstanding! Maetha is such a wonderful person and a perfect manager, Annie, Dina,Rachel, Lexi, Bri, Emily, Lauren, ALL JUST WONDERFUL! Friendly, knowledgeable, courteous, again, the Best! I have super sensitive skin and recently sent an email (to the owner,Jen) just to ask a few questions. The very next day I received a reply from Jen AND a phone call (2 actually! ) from Dawn. Both of whom went above and beyond to accommodate me! That kind of professionalism with a personal touch added in is exactly what makes this place so great! Thank you ALL! #PlanetSunRocks #GetUrTanOn
