The salon does an excellent job with blowouts. If you have thick or tightly coiled hair ask for Violeta. She is amazing! The prices are good as well. My only complaint was there were too many people in the shop. You have to make an appointment but they accept walk-ins. The shop had 5 people in when I started and 12 people when I left. Overall, I would go back.

I have been going to this place since I relocated to Gaithersburg which is the only reason I’m giving 2 stars instead of 0 after my last visit. Their manager Mame is a sweet heart but the hairdressers are just plain out RUDE. Went there3/8/22, and immediately got asked to wait because the 2 hairdressers were doing each other’s hair. Waited patiently and about 15 minutes into being serviced, the lady went on her phone (which is completely fine as long as you’re still doing what you’re supposed to). When she was washing my hair she was still on her phone with no airpods or headphones so I guess in the process of her trying to hold her phone to her ear she splashed water ALL over me. She apologized and told me she was on the phone with her grand son’s principal so my stupid self let it go quickly. About 2 minutes later she’s yelling on the phone and accidentally SPITS on me which is just beyond disgusting. Once again she apologized but at that point I asked her kindly if the other lady can help me until she gets off the phone. Long story short the other helped me for about 15 minutes then the other lady came back. I was getting my hair straightened for an event but she kept burning me to the point I couldn’t take it anymore. I told her it’s fine the way it was, paid my bill and left to never return. There’s gotta be better options.

My hair was done like I did it myself at home with flat irons. It smells burnt. I wanted a wash and set. They rolled my hair put me under dryer after washing and did a rush job at that. I sat under the dryer with rollers then once rollers were out it looked like a bush. They blow dried it MORE HEAT with no heat protection. Then Literaly ran the flat irons over it. My scalp was dry, my hair was dry, looked like brown paper bags ans sounded like newspaper. It was not worth it at all and that was a first and last try for this salon.

Critical: ProfessionalismI went there this Sunday to get my daughters hair done. It was 2:30pm one of the staff said she could do it today and just sit and wait. I left her to wait at 3. She calls me at 4:45 to tel me the no one could do her hair. I was so livid I couldn’t even walk back inside cause I was so kissed off why would you have my child waiting 2 hrs knowing you had no one to do her hair? So unprofessional. I been here before and had problems before but I chose to give them another chance. My mistake it will never happen again. NEVER AGAINST.I went there this Sunday to get my daughters hair done. I went there this Sunday to get my daughters hair done. It was 2:30pm one of the staff said she could do it today and just sit and wait. I left her to wait at 3. She calls me at 4:45 to tel me the no one could do her hair. Today was my first time visiting. First of all, I made and appointment and there were 4 more people there to see the same stylist. Not including the other people who were being seen by other stylists. I was very disappointed! Due to COVID-19 there shouldn’t have been people waiting there. Isn’t that the law now? EXCELLENT service beautiful salon stylist braid my daughter hair for years and today did a fantastic job were my daughter 17 get ready take her Senior Portraits July 16. Let me start by saying the workers at this salon are all sweet and friendly. The place is clean and nicely decorated. If you are thinking on getting braids I would advise you to bring your own hair because, the hair that they use is the lowest quality of hair you can possibly find. The hair is extremely rough and itchy….in fact my braids ruined a top that I wore two days after I got my hair done.
