One star because you can’t give 0 stars… I went here because they had availability at the last minute and other places were booked. I think I understand why. My appointment was a 9, but they don’t open until 9, so I wasn’t able to come earlier to get processed in so my service could actually start at 9. When I first walked in, the greeting wasn’t warm, just “You have massage at 9:00?” There was a language barrier that this could have attributed to, so no big deal, I confirmed with a yes… After that, she abruptly asked me to pay first, which annoyed me because I usually pay after a service, but okayyyyyy… When I pulled my card out, she told me that I’d be charged extra for using my card, after which I was really turned off. At that point, I just wanted my massage so I paid and was taken back to the room. There was a thin paper sheet that looked like the hospital gown they give you at the OBGYN… I laid under it because there was nothing else to cover me up with… The massage was just ok. I wanted a deep tissue. It was not. She missed key points that needed attention, that you just shouldn’t have to tell a licensed massage therapist where these are. So overall, the service itself was just ok. But my major gripe with this place was the lack of courtesy and cleanliness… After my massage was over (not the full 90 minutes), she tells me “90 minute up” and leaves out . She came back in a couple of minutes after. I was still laying there… She said again, “you all done, 90 minute over”. Then she asked if I wanted a water. I told her that I would like a water. I got up and started to get dressed because it felt like I was being put out… and she came back in before I had even finished dressing, and stayed in there, and proceeded to “clean” the room AS I WAS STILL GETTING DRESSED!!!!I was mortified to see that she simply removed the paper sheet and nothing else, she left the sheets on the bed and sprayed them with what I believe to be alcohol… And that was it!!! I was just grossed out after that. I was supposed to lay on top of the paper sheet… That was the only barrier between me and sheets that don’t get changed between services… YUK!!!!!Given my overall experience and the fact that my neck had a painful catch in it for a week after, I won’t ever go back. Perhaps I was looking for a spa type experience because that’s what I’m used to… My expectations were clearly too high for this place. Lesson has been learned.
