Anytime I’ve ever had to get my haircut in the past I’ve always dreaded going because I felt it never would come out the way I wanted. Since I’ve been going to Pixie I don’t have to worry about that anymore. Shannon does a fantastic job with my hair and her team is very pleasant. Its a very warm and welcoming environment and overall a great experience!

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueAn awful experience! Would not recommend this salon to anyone!I booked an appt. for color and trimming bangs. After rinsing my hair, Shannon, the stylist/owner, asked me if I wanted to go home with wet hair or if I wanted to dry it myself in the salon. I was really surprised in that I expected my hair to be dried. I didn’t want to leave with wet hair (it’s November) and asked Shannon why she couldn’t dry my hair. She said I didn’t request a blow dry when I made the appt. (no one ever told me that drying my hair wasn’t part of having it colored). She then handed me a dryer and asked what products I wanted to use.I reminded her that I needed my bangs trimmed; she said she didn’t have time. When I told her that I requested this when I made my appt, she quickly cut my wet bangs. They were way too short ( 1/2 inch above my eyebrows and they were crooked); her reply was that she only cut it a bit.She then went to another room and I proceeded to dry my own hair. This was the first and only time I have ever dried my own hair in a salon! She never even checked in with me to see how I liked my color when my hair was dry. I asked the other stylist if I could have a mirror to see the back of my hair. My hair was very dried out and the color wasn’t well blended. Shannon totally ignored me and never even said good-bye when I left.Their website says , “Clients always come first”. I certainly didn’t feel that way at all. Shannon demonstrated to me that she just didn’t care about my experience. My hair will eventually grow and I will have my color corrected, but I will never forget the unkind and dismissive behavior shown to me by the owner.Services: Hair coloring, Bang trimAn awful experience! Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, QualityI am so lucky that I found Pixie Salon shortly after I moved to the area in 2017. My sister-in-law is a stylist in another part of the state, so I have high expectations—but Danielle always exceeds them. I have had cuts, highlights, and color, and I have been happy with every service. Danielle is also totally approachable and she really knows her stuff (she helped me solve the hair breakage problem I was having when I made my first appointment!). I got so many compliments on my last cut that I almost got tired of hearing them…seriously. I love the salon’s decor, and the rest of the staff is friendly and accommodating as well. I am so lucky that I found Pixie Salon shortly after I moved to the area in 2017. My sister-in-law is a stylist in another part of the state, so I have high expectations—but Danielle always exceeds them. I have had cuts, highlights, and color, and I have been happy with every service. Danielle is also totally approachable and she really knows her stuff (she helped me solve the hair breakage problem I was having when I made my first appointment!).
