Amazing experience! I love the attention and love they give my lovely locks! Pistachio not only has amazing products but amazing staff. I’ve been here twice and each time has been stellar. No one is rushing to get you in and out of the salon. Great attention to the coloring and cut. Definitely recommend this salon. It doesn’t matter how many years I have been going to Pistachio, Lucy always sits me down for a full consultation to ensure she knows exactly what I’m looking to accomplish during my appointment and /or if I want to make any style or color changes to my hair. Not only does my hair look and feel amazing when I leave the salon, but the Aveda product line they use keeps my hair healthy and looking great until my next appointment. Everyone is the salon is upbeat, friendly and they all seem to get along so well. The salon is so clean, stylish, and always feels so comfortable and fresh when I’m there. Both my son and husband also go to Pistachio for their haircuts and also have great hairdressers. My son goes to Steve and he is an absolute perfectionist and takes his time to make sure our son’s haircut is spot on. Pistachio is definitely the best hair salon in San Diego in my opinion and you cannot go wrong with any of the stylists! They are all fabulous!!! I have been a client of Lucy and Pistachios for years. It doesn’t matter how many years I have been going to Pistachio, Lucy always sits me down for a full consultation to ensure she knows exactly what I’m looking to accomplish during my appointment and /or if I want to make any style or color changes to my hair. Lucy and her whole team work with you and collaborate to make a salon experience that is unforgettable. Every stylist works together as a team and consult together whenever there is a new client. My first time here they all made sure to give me undivided attention and made sure I walked out satisfied. They always recommend the AMAZING Aveda products they used on your hair but in no way do they make you feel pressured to buy the products. Unlike other salons they always explain what they are doing and what they are using in your hair. Given all the covid protocol and constant shut downs, the salon has implemented every safety precaution possible. Everyone is require to wear a mask, stations are constantly being sanitized and social distancing guidelines are in place. There are physical barriers between each salon chair station and all the staff is caution and considerate of everyone and their level of comfort. On top of the overall salon experience my hair had NEVER felt so healthy and soft AND looked amazing. I love coming here and feeling important when I get my hair done. Pistachio and the entire team is absolutely the best and I have finally found a salon worth every penny. This is the best Aveda salon ever! I have been going to Aveda salons for many years. Lucy did a fabulous job on my hair! I received the perfect blunt cut bob. This was my first time at this salon and It had been over a year since I had received a haircut. Lucy understood my hair and I just love my new cut! Lucy was my hair stylist and She helped me with the style I was looking for and cut less than wanted to make sure I was going to the exact length I wanted. I cut around 6 inches off and I am so happy with my experience. They did an amazing job and followed COVID protocols above and beyond. I had a super great experience. I recently moved from out of state and wanted to drastically cut my hair and was terrified. Lucy was my hair stylist and She helped me with the style I was looking for and cut less than wanted to make sure I was going to the exact length I wanted. I cut around 6 inches off and I am so happy with my experience. They did an amazing job and followed COVID protocols above and beyond. Will definitely go there again.
