Previously, when we used this barber the gentleman (owner?) was doing cuts and not only did a great job on my teen son’s hair, but was very efficient. He had a long line and got through people in a timely fashion—less than 15 minutes per patron. We were very pleased!

I’ve never witnessed a barber who can churn out such great haircuts at a pace this fast. I have gone here since I was a kid and have always left happy. When I was out of town for school, I realized just how rare a barbershop like this is. Now that I’m back in Ferndale I don’t go anywhere else but Schad’s Pioneer Barbers.

A hole in the wall. The barber, an older lady, was outstanding. For years I was looking for a good place for a haircut and finally found it yesterday. She still uses a straight edge razor and that impressed me. My haircut? The best!

One of the more interesting and friendly shops I’ve ever had cut my hair and trim my beard. In 15 minutes or less, I was looking good and if you know me, that’s quite impressive, bordering on a miracle even. It was worth the 3200 mile trip from Palm Coast FL to go there for a haircut.
