The shop was very cute and clean but with it being downtown they don’t have specific parking. At least not that I could find. So just keep that in mind. Carolina did my pedicure and gel polish. She was very kind and didn’t say much which doesn’t bother me. I wish the massage part was longer and more pressure. It was at the end which was new to me. But ultimately my gel didn’t last very long. I usually have to get it removed after 2 months because of growth but they don’t peel off. I lost polish within two weeks unfortunately. I do gel on my toes so I can go longer in between appointments. Maybe it was a one off case but was a bummer!

This was my third visit to Pinkies on Main after trying a few other nail salons in the Mooresville area.

Clean atmosphere and friendly techs, however I was extremely disappointed with my nails. I booked an appointment and had a visual of what exactly I wanted. These were my wedding nails, so I wanted something specific, just almond shaped with a dainty thin white French tip. She put her own spin on it, and did not do what I wanted. Not to mention, the nails were so uneven, thick, and poorly filed, I had jagged edges on most of the nails. I was also charged for stiletto shaping, and did not ask for stiletto. When I questioned this, the mail tech I had didn’t even bother to come out to explain, instead sent another tech that basically just said “I’m sorry ♀️”. My wedding pictures that highlighted my nails were awful because of the quality and look of the finished product, which really bummed me out considering these were specifically for my wedding, and I made that clear. I will not be coming back.

I absolutely enjoyed meeting Jill and she was great but once I left and looked at my nails, I was so disappointed. The polish was sloppy around my nail bed and the shape of a few nails were crazy looking as well as 3-4 nails on the other hand being noticeably longer than the other hand. I was so excited to visit them and was hoping to find a new nail tech. The picture I showed her…4th pic down didn’t look like the nails I walked out with (minus the different color). I did like the salon in general and was happy that they used new files and equipment with each person. Unfortunately, I probably won’t go back.

I use to go to Jacki all the time, for like over a year straight, then had my son and just had my natural nails for a while. When I decided to start getting my nails done again my friend took me to the place she goes… never again!! when it was time to get my nails done again I called Pinkies and immediately made an appointment with her!! She is amazing not only with the nail but the design as well!! I bring in a picture of what I want and she does it every time and it looks better than the picture!!! Definitely best nail salon in Mooresville NC! Yes you do have to make an appointment but trust me it’s worth the wait and once you’re in you just make your appointment as you leave. Prices are good too!! If you’re looking for a nail salon this is where you need to go!!

Went in for a Gel acrylic set, they were perfect for the first day I had them, then they started popping off my nail bed one by one. The nails lasted me 4 days before all of the nails were coming off my nail beds. I just took them off, not worth the time of putting glue on it everyday. Gel manicures
