This is the 3rd time I have taken my almost 3-year-old grandson to Pigtails & Crewcuts and they always do an amazing job. It’s usually not easy to give a haircut to a toddler but they have unique ways of interacting with him making it fun. There’s never tears or a melt down, just smiles and fun every time.

We went for my daughter’s first hair cut and the stylist, Brit, was so kind and patient. She made my daughter’s first experience fun and great. I was unfamiliar with “kid salons” and I guess my expectations were too high. My girls were hyped up for a fun hair cut experience. Total hair cut took less than 5 min. Maybe that’s a plus for some, but for the price of the “haircut” service ($23) I was expecting more than a quick chop. Zero shaping was done. It felt very much like a drive through hair cut. Satisfaction with the actual cut still TBD as we haven’t washed and styled it yet. However, I was severely disappointed in the experience. Not worth the price. We’ll go to a real salon next time and get our money’s worth.

I have taken my son twice and we saw Erica. She does a great job with my son who gets nervous and can wiggle quite a bit. She was always kind and patient with him. The environment is clean and very kid friendly with cute little cars for the littles to sit in or standard chairs for the bigger kids. My son especially likes the toys at the front entrance he can look at before his appt and get as a little reward after. Definitely recommend if you have a little one. It makes a haircut not seem so scary for them.
