My grandson is 3 years old and this was his first haircut. We had gone to another place to get it done and he was not going to let the lady touch him. I called here and spoke to Elizabeth and she said they were going to close in 30 minutes but if I could make it in 20 minutes she’d cut his hair. Well she was amazing. She was very good with him and patient. It took a few minutes but he warmed up to her and let her cut his hair. She was fabulous. The whole place was amazing! Absolutely the best for kids. The entire establishment was great. I would 100% recommend them. And we will definitely be back. Thank you for making it a nice experience for my grandson. BTW….. she also saved the very first cut of curls she cut and put them in a baggie to take. Just wonderful!

Took my 1 year old son to get his first haircut and since we didn’t know how he would do we were able to have my husband and him get a haircut at the same time! It was a great setup and experience! And my son had a great time sitting in the fire truck and seeing that everything that was happening to him was happening to dad too! 🙂 Some other little things that we appreciated was the waiting room with the toys and a movie in the background. Also a movie in the background while getting his hair cut and getting his prize, certificate and pic for this first haircut milestone!

Overall, very satisfied. They’ve got an often difficult job and handle it quite well. I’ve seen them have to let wiggly, crying kids sit in a parent’s lap, and even with all the thrashing around and fussing (from the kid, not the barber) they manage to achieve something like a haircut. Fortunately, our kids are pretty chill; a little movement, but no big deal. With them, it’s easy, and the haircut comes out just fine, though maybe not super impressive. If something is truly amiss, they offer a 7-day return policy to come back and try to make it right. I guess it speaks well of them that we’ve never had to use it. Price seems a bit high, but I guess it’s probably about average, and it’s worth it if an at-home haircut isn’t in the cards. Depending on how things go and what kind of parent you are, you might end up spending a few extra dollars on toys and stuff animals (although staff is not at all pushy about extras), so be prepared. Bottom line: we will probably keep coming here until our kids feel like they’re ready for a more grownup experience.

Highly recommend! They pierced my daughters ears (5 months old) which took a lot of patience! I was extremely anxious about it so they talked me through it and made the entire process go really smooth! My daughter cried for maybe 30 seconds and her ears look adorable!

I had an absolutely fantastic experience at Pigtails and Crewcuts hair salon! Deanna went above and beyond to not only give my three year old a great haircut, but also to educate me on how to take care of my child’s wavy hair. The play area was a hit with my little one and made the experience even more enjoyable. I am truly grateful for Deanna’s efforts and the salon’s kid-friendly atmosphere. I would highly recommend Pigtails and Crewcuts to any parent looking for a great haircut for their child!
