I saw Dr. Swank to have a cyst removed on the back of neck. He removed the wrong thing. I notified office staff before I left the office that the wrong thing had been removed. His nurses had me come back and immediately saw what should have been removed. However the doctor had left for the day that’s all I was told to come back the next day and they would make it right. I returned the next day to have the correct cyst removed on my neck and I was charged an additional copay. I made a complaint with management and management understood the situation but however they were unable to overrule Dr Swank decision because he is an owner of the practice. I highly recommend Hickory Dermatology!

Unfortunately, my experience was not good. As a first-time patient of Dr. Bergamo, I arrived at 8:20 AM for my 8:45 AM appointment and sat in the waiting room until 9:10 AM. I was then taken to a room where I waited until 9:30 AM. At that point, I had been there over an hour with no update so I got dressed and decided to leave. The nurse apologized and said that since I had completed my paperwork online, I didn’t need to be there that early and someone should have called me. Ironically, when I got in my car in the parking lot, I received a text message about canceling/rescheduling my appointment. Really? If you’re going to go here, make sure you block out a lot of time on your schedule. You’re gonna need it.

Doctor Johnson was excellent. The nurse’s were great and friendly. They explained everything and made you feel very comfortable. Doc sang country songs and I joked with them all. Made the operation very relaxing. Would recommend them to my family and friends. Got the cancer the first time.

Awful, starts off with an almost 3 month wait. Received three confirmation texts in the 72 hours leading up to the appointment. Even made a call to make sure insurance would suffice. Only to drive an hour to get there to be told the doctor we’re to see isn’t in the office today and no other doctor there can see my child whom has had this rash almost 4 months now. Thanks for wasting my gas, my time, my money, no I don’t want another appointment. You’d have to be crazy to let these people do any surgery on you. They can’t even schedule correctly. How hard would it have been to notify me when it was noticed we were on the schedule and the doctor wouldn’t be in the office.

The staff was absolutely wonderful. From the moment I came into their office, I was greeted with a very professional front office personnel. She smiled and was so nice and professional. I was then taken back to the treatment room by a very informative nurse who explained everything that was going yo take place. All the time friendly and concerned about my well-being. The Doctor was also thorough, friendly, and professional. And then Check it was the same way. I I can say I see many doctors and specialist and have never had the experience I had today. Great from time I walked in until I left. Even passing other staff in the hallways, they all said hello and were friendly. I love this place!

My husband went today for something on his foot n a few things on his skin that were questionable…. the office was informed of ALL this when I called to make his appt….He gets there today and they act like they were never told this info and he would need to make another appt (at 75 bucks a visit) for each individual issue…..WHAT? He gets in to the room and they acted like they were annoyed that he was even there. The female doctor scanned over him quickly and acted as if he was taking up her time with being concerned about his skin and issues he wanted addressed. I work in the medical field and if I were to treat my patients the way these women did to my spouse…..I would be looking for a new job. I understand that we all have off days but making a patient feel unimportant ANY day is unacceptable. Go somewhere else. Very disappointed.

Although we had to wait 45 minutes past our appointment time, that is to be expected these days. However this was our first visit with Dr. Roeder and we were more than pleased with her knowledge, efficiency and caring attitude. She was patient and thoroughly answered all our qestions. Her assistant followed up with printed information and instructions which were clear and precise. The entire visit exceeded our expectations in a very positive way.
