What we have here is a cozy, one on one salon studio. This salon is appointment only and does not take walk-ins at the moment. Services are limited to hair extension installations such as sew-ins, microlink sew-ins, tape-in and silk presses (blowout). The best way get in contact with the stylist is via phone, text or email. Stay away from this salon! I had a terrible experience with Christina at PHX Hair. I show up 10 minutes early for my appointment, and she opened the door and said “can’t you see, I’m busy?” as she works on another client. She did not say hi to me, and I definitely did not feel welcome there. It was too awkward sitting in the tiny room, so I went back to my car to wait, come back, at 2:30 for my appt, and she’s STILL working on the other client. She saw me standing outside waiting, and I heard them laughing inside the room, she says nothing to me, and goes over by 6 minutes, eating into my time. I only had a 15 minute consultation. I originally was going to get services with her, but I am glad I just got a consultation instead, because this was a terrible experience. She made up an excuse in response to my negative review on her page saying that there was a miscommunication and she started 6 minutes late with the client before me, but when I arrived and said “I’m here for my 2:30 appointment”, she had the opportunity to say something, but instead said “I know”. I just left. I felt so disrespected and uncared for. I was just getting a consultation anyway, so it’s not like she was making much off me, but I still got charged for a service I never received. In addition to that, I tried reaching out to the service she uses for scheduling appointments to inquire about a refund, and they started a mediation process between us, and she said things like “she is being malicious” and “The client is not being totally honest here”. I was just trying to find a hairdresser to get my hair healthy, and ended up feeling marginalized and disrespected in the end. Not only that, she did not take accountability or ownership for creating this negative experience. Stay as far away as possible from this place.
