pHountain started when the founder lost yet another family member to cancer. After an intense research mission the founder was determined to find ways to protect himself and his family from a future potential lethal disaster. He discovered the connection of live alkaline foods, alkaline nutrients and alkaline waters. He was able to lose 40lbs without trying, do multiple gym workouts per day and slept better than ever before, and lowering his blood pressure and cholesterol levels. This life changing experience gave him a higher awareness on how powerful greens, superfoods and alkaline water were and the positive side effects that come along with them. Wanting to share this breakthrough with the world, pHountain was born in early 2010.

We bought three jugs of water from here because we like their services. My daughter and I came in because we forgot one at home but we had a $10 off coupon. I am a monthly member and a loyal customer. My daughter wanted to use the coupon in her new account. The owner of Port Jefferson was extremely rude and said “he didn’t need her energy in the store” when all we wanted to was use a coupon for a cheaper jug since we have more at home. I assume he didn’t want to switch between accounts or create a new one for her. How can he even be able to run a store? Matt is so much nicer! Would never come here again or recommend to anybody. Cancelled membership right away. Was definitely mad he had to work on a Saturday! Not to mention when I asked for a paper cup he threw it at me over the counter. I thought his water was supposed to put you in a better mood!

Great environment! The staff is so lovely and knowledgeable about all thing’s health. I went to phountain out of curiosity and now I’m hooked! Great little spot on E Main Street in Port Jeff Village. Went in to get details on how the phountain program works but only one person working and fairly busy with customers filling water and appointments. So we left but not the ladys fault who was working. Just needed more staff on to help maybe talk to new customers and deal with appointments and water fill ups. I’ll stop back another time.

pHountain is always improving service. Very friendly staff. Not many customers realize that parking is available in the back lot for free. Stores are transitioning to water dispensers that have a self-cleaning feature which is great to remove mineral deposits.
