Critical: QualityMy experience was awful. Do not go to this place if you have curly or wavy hair of any sort. These people do not know how to handle this type of hair. I can style my hair better than they did. I was very optimistic going into the salon and I deeply regret it coming out. They made my hair look as if I hadn’t brushed it in 10+ years. They used an open blow dryer on my hair and roots 3 times instead of diffusing, and the lady doing my hair saw it as perfectly fine that it looked extremely frizzy and damaged. My hair is not frizzy nor damaged looking when I style it. I also told her to cut one inch off of my hair and she did not follow that, instead she decided to cut 3 inches off. My experience was awful. Do not go to this place if you have curly or wavy hair of any sort. These people do not know how to handle this type of hair. I can style my hair better than they did. I was very optimistic going into the salon and I deeply regret it coming out. They made my hair look as if I hadn’t brushed it in 10+ years. Positive: CleanlinessI am very frustrated. I’ve been a loyal customer to this Philip Pelusi Salon for about 15 years. I was scheduled for an appointment today. Ive been calling them to confirm my appointment. Most of the time, the voice recorder came on saying “Not accepting calls”. But yesterday I got one chance to leave a message asking them to call me to confirm. No one returned my call. I called again and got the same message of “Not accepting calls”. Some of their salons are opening up. But apparently not the one that I usually go to. I understand that there’s a pandemic going on. But, it’s mind boggling that with today’s technology, they didn’t up set their phone lines/customer service line so that they can be reached for questions or rescheduling appointments. I’m giving this salon a 5 star because I want to be fair…. they are usually fantastic. But in light of the pandemic, it’s not fair to give them anything lower at this point in time. I am very frustrated. I’ve been a loyal customer to this Philip Pelusi Salon for about 15 years. I was scheduled for an appointment today. Ive been calling them to confirm my appointment. Most of the time, the voice recorder came on saying “Not accepting calls”. But yesterday I got one chance to leave a message asking them to call me to confirm. No one returned my call.
