Critical: ProfessionalismDon’t go to Katie with Southern Charms.seeing her was a complete waste of my time and money s ppl ent in gas. She’s been running a Groupon deal for highlighting special . When I came to see her I was hoping she’d be able to cut my hair , framing my face since I had been cutting off damaged ends myself. She told me she could not highlight my hair as that was going to “melt my hair” . I was fine with that but she was very rude and condescending to me , making me feel like she just wanted to cut off all my h as if without caring whether or not it looked good. She told me I didn’t know what I wanted even though I told her what I wanted. Also said because I have dark hair it wouldn’t lift. Say what? What kind of nonsense is thatThe entire visit was completely unwelcoming and insulting. I ended up leaving without letting her do anything to my hair. I guess she has a preferred kind of customer because before she saw me in person she seemed very nice. I cannot say enough how well Katie and Christina at Southern Charm Hair Salon are. This all began years ago with a consultation, from the beginning Katie was so professional and knowledgeable about all aspects of hair design and trends. Her communication skills proved to be outstanding she helped me find out what I needed and wanted. Any questions that I had were always answered. With their direction and solid knowledge my hair needs are always taken care of. I highly recommend Southern Charm with no reservations.

Very negative experience at Southern Charm Hair Salon. Christina was the stylist. I was NOT welcomed there from the moment I walked in. Aside from the bad energy I felt immediately, the stylist spoke maybe 2 sentences to me the entire 2.5 hours I was there. Service was supposed to be for “heavy blonde highlights”, my hair was still brown when I left, no blonde highlights, I received light brown highlights. The icing on the cake was being sent on my way with wet hair. No blow dry service, nothing, just sent out the door with wet hair. Once my hair dried and I realized my hair wasn’t done properly, I contacted Christina, yet received no remedy to my dissatisfaction. I Do NOT recommend them and I will not return after this experience.

Karen and Nicole are great owners. From paperwork upon signing, to getting my keys and now having my own business, their flexibility, compassion and understanding of each individuals situation is beyond gracious. The Suwanee location is absolutely stunning! The grounds are always well maintained, the location is perfect and the easy of the facilities are a bonus for salon owners and our guests. Pam, the receptionist is also great with making sure the interior environment is well kept and visitors know where to go. It’s always a risk venturing off and starting your own business, but I’m so glad I did and with Phenix Suwanee
