Phenix Salon Suites are home to many barbers and stylist. So you will have to come inside and look for your place of grooming. I personally come here for “The Grooming Lounge” barber shop. Jose is my barber there he’s great and has plenty of experience. Easy to talk to too, don’t be afraid to express how you want your hair. Jose has done a lot for me, blending, fades, mullets, line ups, beard trimming and line ups. I mostly come here for hair cuts and I change up my styles yearly from short hair to a mullet to long hair and sides cut. Jose offers styling tips and what my hair could work with. Tien or Tendo is the other barber I don’t have any experience with her but she also seems to have a happy following of customers who come to her as well. They offer shampooing too and sell products. Organized and professional. They have an instagram page as well “thegroominglounge_il” if you want to see pictures of people they serviced. I highly recommend it for men who like looking clean and well maintained, non of that sports clips effort, real barbers .

Most of the stylists here have their own small spaces. It’s a little noisy with so many people talking but not bad. There is plenty of parking.

Looking to rent space, look elsewhere for better management. Rude and unhelpful staff that will for sure take your deposit. I asked for paint color to match the walls for repairs I made and Leydye dipped cardboard in their paint sample but wouldn’t let me use theirs to touch up 8 holes, nor give me the name of the color. Matched incorrectly obviously and now are charging me 125$ of my deposit.
