Critical: Quality, ValueI came to this salon on 12/04/2020 . To get my hair done by Nikki VAbraidesigner Williams for my trip to Jacksonville on 12/05/2020. I wanted bohemian box braids I posted to a group on face book she responded and said she provided the hair . When I got there she was running behind to go purchase the hair which should have been taken care of before the client arrives ! I was in the chair for 6+ hours . When I got up from the chair I did like the hair . I noticed the next day how stiff the hair was , the curls matted , and what ever hair she purchased made my scalp itch and hurt . I contacted Nikki that Monday in regards to my hair it had only been about 4 days and I let her know what was going on with the hair . I let her know in full detail she apologized about that hair and stated she never had that happen to a client and offered to fix it . I let her know I’ve never experienced this with any stylist and that it was okay . At FIRST I suggested to cut the curls and make the braids longer . They should have been waist length anyway but did not even come past my shoulders . But I changed my mind because what ever hair SHE purchased was adversely affecting my scalp , so in lieu I requested a refund , a partial refund I respect and appreciated the fact that she did the labor . I paid 155 I thought 77.50 was just . She offered 50 dollars . And wanted me to send pictures of my scalp when the hair was out . I explained to Nikki that I understood her logic but I feel I deserve half because i paid you 155 for a style that she said should last 4 weeks but only lasted 6 days . I had to drive back home from Jacksonville so to get off the road after being there for 8+ hours and have to take the hair out AND still have to spend more money to get something else done to it was not fair to me ! We went back and fourth with me about it . She advised I’ll receive a refund in 24 hours because she is on bed rest … I’m not sure what that had to do with anything when she was sending it by cash app I mean you can do that laying down .I contacted her 24 hours later , she said she would send it after she got out of class … she never responded to the paragraph I wrote her and didn’t have enough decency to let me know she sent the money . She started out being nice and professional and ended up being rude . I do NOT recommend Nikki VAbraidesigner Williams! From This salon . The hair quality she uses is poor and all she gave me was 55 dollars . I would have let it go if I just got half and she was more understanding but she blamed me for my hair looking the way it did ! She said I did something to it and her cousin JHEMICA accused me of getting it wet and putting stuff in it ! When that was not the case ! Why would I ruin 155 style just to settle for a partial refund and now I’m back looking crazy ! I’m not pleased with this ! I have NEVER EVER went through anything like this before and I do not recommend! I do have pictures. In the one collage the right side is what I ASKED for .
