I booked an appointment for a sew in weave with Jazmin in suite #137. I got there about 5:15 and left after 9 pm. This was the worst experience ever something as simple as a sew in weave turned out to be a disaster. I should have known better when she had her IG page locked and I know most hairstylist has their page open for people to see their work. Well she should not be styling hair, I think the majority of her clients get braids or dreads. But anyways I did pay her $250 and hurried to get out so that I can go home and fix my own hair. I will need to find another stylist to fix the mess she put in my hair. I’m only posting this because if you’re not comfortable with hairstyling you should NOT be telling customers what you can do and you really cannot.

Rozi is an eyebrow threader in suite 180. She is the best. My brows are so precise with a nice arch. You must go to her! I will never let anyone else do my brows again. You won’t be disappointed.

I have frequented several Phenix Salon Suites locations throughout the greater Washington DC Metro area. I can not say enough positive things about my particular stylist. In regard to my hair, Dallas Dyvitoi is the creme de la creme when it comes to hair extensions and styling and I would recommend him to anyone. My review is specifically towards the Phenix Salon Suites and the way this location is managed. During my first visit with Mr. Dyvitoi, I was aghast to hear the management team threaten to turn off his power in the presence of clients. Not only is it unprofessional, but the manner in which the information was relayed was extremely aggressive. What I found to be even more appalling is the fact that all of the misplaced aggression was a result of a simple miscommunication. This should not have happened in front of me. As a client, it pained me to witness the obvious mischaracterization of my stylist and the subsequent mistreatment. I implore the management staff to research bias and cultural competency, because it is obvious to me that there is an immense lack of knowledge on this topic. I will follow Mr. Dyvitoi to any salon, and hope that my next appointment with him at Phenix Salon Suites is met with a more professional and less aggressive experience.
