I’ve always been picky about my haircuts- for years I only cut my own hair, which had to be short because I worked with food. After I left that industry I went for several years without a haircut- when I finally broke down and decided to let someone cut my hair, I went to Pete’s. They did a really great job, so I’ve just continued going there for my haircuts. They’ve never given me a bad haircut, and everyone there is really friendly and fun to talk to, while you’re there. Great atmosphere, and great haircuts. I would definitely recommend these guys to anyone looking for a barber in or near Valparaiso.

I do not recommend Pete’s Barbershop. I took my 3 boys there for a haircut today and they like the guy barber so my one son was getting his haircut and the lady was ready for the next client so I kindly said I’m gonna wait for him because the boys want to go to Pete and she took the next customer then he was half way through cutting my sons hair and said very rudely “ why do they want to wait and I said because they want you to cut it and he said “WHY” they don’t even know me” at that point I thought I’m out after this but then he finished my sons hair and said “I’m not cutting the other 2 I will do only one because we have 2 other qualified barbers in here” so I said never mind and left. We have gone here before and seen the other man and the girl and they were always nice but Pete was a real piece of work and so very rude!! I definitely won’t be back.
