I bought two Groupons for a “Spa Shellac Manicure and Pedicure” for $21.00. The first issue was scheduling an appointment. They expire within 6 months after you purchase, and when I called for an appointment, I had to wait two months! When I finally went for my Saturday appointment, I had a young girl do my manicure and pedicure. While talking to her, she mentioned that she is not a state certified nail technician, and she is only allowed to work on Saturdays because the State doesn’t work weekends! She told me the owner found her on twitter, and trained her. She had no experience, and was TERRIBLE! Getting my nails filed actually hurt. She cut my toe nails extremely short. The end result was a messy, goopy, uncomfortable experience. Since I mentioned I bought two Groupons, obviously I did not want to go back to use the second. I went to the salon to see if I could buy product with it or use it towards another service worth the $21 I paid. They said I would have to have services worth $55 dollars because that is what the groupon is “worth”. Needless to say, I will not be going back, and would not recommend anyone going here for a manicure or pedicure!
