I was able to come in the day before new years, didn’t have to wait. The guy did my nails and took his time and they looked great. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was because the nails on one hand are longer than the other (wish I noticed before I got home).

I have been coming here for many many years maybe 10+ the owner is very nice and he offers excellent customer service! Their job is amazing and never fails to come here. The no chip actually lasts and their massage chairs when you are having a pedicure is putting you to sleep lol! Too bad I moved far away but when I know I will be In skokie always in my plans to visit and pamper my self!

I’m really bummed. Typically, they do decent work, and they’re fair on their prices, but I was in today and was sorely disappointed. My nails are uneven and lumpy. I also got glitter on the very tips of my nails, only a 2nd color, and was charged for “nail art”, which they’ve never done before. I was also charged for having 2 nails replaced, which has never been done before. I just feel like everything was done very fast and shoddily, like they were worried more about getting everyone done and getting out of there than they were making sure the quality of their work was good. Tonight solidified that decision. This will be my last time in this shop.

I see this place gets alot of bad reviews.. I had a pretty good experience! I thought it was a pretty friendly atmosphere.. I think it’s more of a relaxing, easy going salon… I appreciate it when people can be themselves while be welcoming.. I like the “treat you like family” type of vibe… I had a pedicure/ombre full set. A lady started on my feet, as soon as she was finished with her client (approx 10 mins after I walked in without an appointment, around 6:00 on a friday) I enjoyed the massage chair, and the massage she gave at the end of my ped. They started on my nails halfway through the pedi. I’ve seen someone else complain about this, I actually appreciated it! It’s been a while since I’ve gotten my Mani/pedi done just because I can be impatient & don’t want to be at the salon for hours! She did a dipping technique for the ombre effect, which came out beautifully! I will definitely making an appointment again, & am willing to take the drive out from the city!

The worst experience ever! The pedicure was quick and lackluster. The nail tech did no massage, washed off the lotion (I left with ashy,dry get) and got polish on my flip flops. She then proceeded to do the fill-in… without asking how I like my nails shaped (which was obvious because the were square when I got there) she proceeded to file and reshape then into some strange rounded-square-oblong shape. She slapped on the polish- literally! – and it was thick and sloppy. The owner came to “fix it” by using no chip gel polish. In the process, he cut a few of my fingers without apology or anesthetic to clean it. Now, 5 days later, the no chip is chipping and peeling. Horribly disappointing….

My first visit to Perfectly Polished was very disturbing. Walked in to the salon and noticed that is was not well kept. I was greeted by a man who huffed and puffed at my daughters and I. He told me that he could only see one of us. The other two would need to come a another day. Simply put…I would not recommend going to Perfectly Polished very rude and unprofessional!!!
